Everything felt very luxurious, the staff were so genuine and warm, the on site restaurants I tried were fantastic (especially the chinese one), the pool is awesome and my personal highlight was the excellently equipped gym - everything is brand new. Maintaining a property like this, right by the ocean, is a big task - I hope the team will manage because I'd love to return one day.

We had an excellent stay in Taprobane House! The accommodation was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always available to give us tips and make our stay easier. The location is also great, close to the main attractions and easy to get around. Excellent value for money — we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Colombo.

When we checked in we got upgraded to a suite and even though we only stayed 1 day, it was so wonderful! The kids had lots of space and even we enjoyed the amenities including the huge rub and breathtaking view from the bathroom!

The De Saram House is a beautiful architectural gem in the heart of a leafy neighborhood in central Colombo. I stay here whenever I am in town as it is comfortable with restrained elegance and always affable, kind and generous staff. It's a lovely place with an atmosphere, our room had wonderful bed, closed off balcony great for enjoying the air and a perfectly clean bathroom too. The breakfast was fulfilling and just delicious, fresh fruit and a sri-lankan omelette with toasted bread as well as tea and coffee.
