I had a wonderful stay at this private luxury cottage near Galle. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage was exceptionally clean, with comfortable linens and all the necessary amenities, including tea, coffee, hot water, and toiletries—all provided free of charge. The complimentary WiFi covered the entire cottage, ensuring a seamless connection. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, served in a peaceful setting with the soothing sounds of birds and stunning nature views. The location is ideal, close to popular tourist attractions such as waterfalls and monasteries. Additionally, the nearby village offers unique experiences like cinnamon peeling, hiking, and birdwatching. The Location is very beautiful, situated in the jungle in a small village. The family was incredibly kind and made our stay feel like home. We had delicious homemade, traditional dinner and breakfast. The house is close to the entrance to Sinharaja Forest and they recommended us a great Guide who spotted lots of animals and showed us many ayurverdic healing plants. I can‘t recommend this place enough :)

This was a magical experience being in a peaceful rainforest, next to a river, surrounded by wild nature and the perfect service from Ravinre who always met us with a big smile and kind heart. We will definitely go back next year.

Fantastic location and very kind and sympathic host Chanaka. This is a pleasure to stay so close with the nature, practically in the jungle. Chanaka also was the great tourist guide (you can go to Sinharaja Forest with him!) with an amazing "eagle" eye to rare animals. We have an incredible opportunities to saw an frogmouth owl, which is not frequent and easy to meet especially in the daytime. Also the waterfall at the end of the journey in forest is just wonderful, clean and refreshing water after an few hour was just perfect. We also had an ocassion to tried traditional delicacies with whole fantastic and kind family, because Chanaka invite us to him house and they are lovely, very hospitality, give us an amazing local food and drink like Toddy, honey and jaggery chickal tree (i hope so i’ve good notice this name). It was an excitement experience which i totally recommend for everyone, especially with Chanaka as an tourist guide, because he perfectly knows the area he loves so he really give you a heart for your whole stay!

beautiful location, very peaceful, lovely natural pool, river also runs by the property. The rooms were large and very comfortable,the ceiling fan worked very well,each room had it's own terrace with seating,my room even had a table and chairs to give me the option of eating there if I wanted to.The food was great, even enjoyed a BBQ with a lovely fire nearby, could be a lovely romantic evening had my husband traveled with me. Wonderful place for families or friends, there is a boat with paddles for hours of fun in the river. I spent four nights and it was very hard to leave such a beautiful place.

Absolutely in love with the place and the hospitality. We loved this spot. The cottage is great. The bed was very big and comfy. The river view of front balcony is lovely.also we enjoyed the hospitality of Buddhika and staf.chf Nihal is very nice guy. Srilankan trickle honey and buffalo curd is amazing. The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

A very unique experience to stay at this family run hotel. The experience of staying in the rainforest with the waterfall roaring next to us was great ambience. The food was home cooked and delicious. The staff were easy to contact and helpful with anything we needed.
