Beautiful place, beautiful swimming pool that was extremely clean. Very hospitable host. Beautiful nature around including a big river where you can see people bathing and having fun. It was our first night in Sri Lanka and we loved it.

Very clean, staff are so kind and helpful, nothing is too much of an ask. Very close to the airport so perfect for the 1st night or 2 in Sri Lanka or before catching a flight, complimentary airport transfer is so convenient too. Lovely pool, nice food, quiet area.

We had an exceptional stay at Uga Riva. This hotel is top quality; a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms, quality linnen, great bathrooms, fabulous food… We arrived drenched from the rain and the staff immediately made us feel comfortable with hot tea and towels. We stayed here last Saturday and had such a wonderful experience. The property is small, with only two rooms, which makes it feel very private and peaceful. A wonderful retreat in the jungle a short drive from the airport. Perfect to relax after or before a long flight. The owners are happy to give valuable advice regarding money changing, SIM card, etc. Warm and personal atmosphere. Good service with tuktuk for local sightseeing in the Negombo area and with comfortable car with reliable driver for airport transfer and further travel.
