Smooth check-in, the host communicated very well. A beautiful and peaceful location near the forest. There’s a large lake not far away, and the cabin is situated between Varėna and Merkinė – there’s definitely plenty to do. The apartment is modern, tidy, clean, and spacious. Two separate bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need. I loved the fireplace. There’s a barbecue and grill, and you can enjoy reading a book or having tea in the gazebo or on the sun loungers. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely come back again.

We came for a kayak trip on the Šalčia and Merkys rivers, which the host kindly organised for us, and stayed the night afterwards. Friendly and helpful host, location is absolutely fantastic (we happenned to come on the very few days it was snowing, the yard looked wonderful). We visited mid-winter and came to preheated room, maintaining the fire was and smell of it was a great experience. Wonderful escape from the city life.
