    An amazing place.

An amazing place. We stayed at a Riad initially which was great for all the hustle & bustle of the Soukks and Medina. Then traveled to a 6 day yoga retreat closer to the Atlas mountains again, more than amazing. Then returned to Marrakech and stayed in the more modern part of the city. It was good to see different areas. In the city we ate at different restaurants all of which were excellent and great value for money. I cant wait to go again and this time will take an empty suitcase as there are so many amazing things to buy !!!!

We loved exploring the city on foot.

We loved exploring the city on foot. Once we learned not to follow people who offered to take us to places, we felt more confident. Most people were extremely friendly. We loved Dar el Bacha Museum. If you want to go in the gorgeous coffee house, you need to queue before the museum opens. We were disappointed with Bahia Palace as there was a lot of renovation work taking place (Oct 2025) and were also disappointed with el Badi Palace as not many of the information was written in English and the place was being set up for a large event whilst we were there so it didn’t feel/look authentic. We ate in small places, where locals ate, around Bab Doukkala Mosque - all lovely. We did also venture in to a couple of ‘fancy’, more westernized bars, to get some alcohol. We went to El Fenn and Kabana Rooftop - both great rooftop places to eat and drink (although we only had drinks). Kabana was fabulous in Friday night - live DJ and a really busy place with the great atmosphere. Both places pricey though. We did a couple of trips. One on quads with dinner and fire show and one to the Ourika Valley. Our advice would be, if you can, book a personal driver to take you to the same places. The tours were twice as long as advertised and a lot of time was spent taking you to places to buy things.

Marrakech is a city full of colour and culture.

Marrakech is a city full of colour and culture. A definite must return for me. As to their traditional Moroccan cuisine it is full of flavor and aroma a delight to any palate. Jemaa el fna is an experience whether visited during the day or night a must visit.

We visited : - Jardins Majorelles - Secret Garden

We visited : - Jardins Majorelles - Secret Garden - Madrassa ben Youssef - Spa Heritage (hamman) We loved every activity, but would recommend going very early to the madrassa Ben Youssef because it was packed at 11h30 and was a bit chaotic with the quantity of tourists We walked everywhere - very easy to get to all the main sites!

It’s a different world, and therefore a refreshing alternative to the overly classic European destinations. The atmosphere can be a bit overwhelming at first, but with a little attention to traffic, accommodation, and places to eat and shop, the experience becomes truly unforgettable.

It was a lovely place to be! The beds were comfy, it was clean and smelled lovely everywhere, the food was the best we tasted in marrakech, the staff were discreet but attentive (more so than many 5 star hotels I’ve stayed at.) the pool was beautiful at the end of a busy afternoon in the souks. We were always greeted with an ice cold drink or a mint tea.

Everything was like a 5 stars hotel! Great brand new room, superb breakfast, and an outstading service! By the way, if I could I'd give a 6 stars for the service of Abdu and Mohamed! All staff were amazing but this two deserve all the credit for all the effort, kindness and attention to make our stay so special like it was!

Staff is friendly, but we found spiders, no airco in the living room. Also a smell in the bathroom and really old. We could not sleep there, so we had to go to another place. How can this be more rated than a 5 star hotel?

The all inclusive package made the holiday simple and enjoyable. The staff were always willing to address issues promptly. The hotel made up for its location by providing free shuttle buses into the city.

this is my 2nd visit. it’s absolutely spotless, staff are very attentive. I loved the vibe of the riad and felt like I was in Morocco and not a 5 star hotel in any other country
