The place was fantastic, exactly as in the pictures(unlike other places we had visited), we had really comfortable stay. Everything was clean, well decorated, we didn't need anything else. The kitchen is very well equipped with all utensils you will need for your stay, the bathroom was sparkly clean. The location is perfect for exploring, the view from the balcony is impressive, especially at night. Every morning we were greeted by the ring of the church bells across the street. They ring at least twice a day - 8 am and 8 pm, The melody is catchy, we enjoyed it much more than having to wake up with our hated alarms. The landlord was very friendly, always ready to help, he was very kind and responsive. Strongly advise you to stay in this perfect place when you visit Malta

Staying in this apartment was an absolute joy. The location is perfect—not only does it offer a stunning view of the sea and the harbor, which we could admire right from the sofa, but it also provides easy access to Valletta via a short 15-minute ferry ride across the water. Traveling to the city this way was not just convenient but a truly special experience in itself. The apartment was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We received clear and detailed information about both the accommodation and the local area, which made everything effortless. Howard, the owner, was exceptionally kind, helpful, and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The communication with the owner was perfect .She was willing to answer all our questions. The apartment is located very close to the ferry for Valletta . There are restaurants , cafes and shops in walking distance. The apartment has a unique style , with a traditional balcony in one of the picturesque streets of Birgu. Would definitely recommend it !

The owner was very helpful, and the place was safe. We loved sitting in the big terrace with a beautiful view on the old city. The house is in the square of the city with many restaurants near it. I definitely recommend this house.

Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the space was more than enough. The balcony was pleasant, and there were plenty of power outlets available. Water, tea bags, coffee, and cups were provided in the room, which was a nice touch. The online staff also responded very quickly, which made the stay even more convenient.

Location was perfect for us, we never struggled for parking and you could avoid the worst of the traffic. Swim spot very close. The kitchen was excellent fully equipped, great TV and Wifi + Super comfy beds. Thank you we really enjoyed our stay + Malta is awesome

    Much of Malta can be crowded and noisy. Birgu is quiet in terms of people but still has all the old streets and architecture and restaurants to enjoy. More relaxing, with so much centred on the harbour. The ferry to Valletta goes every half an hour so it is still well connected.

    The only location to consider staying in the Three Cities...

    The only location to consider staying in the Three Cities area is Birgu. A small place with quaint streets and lovely architecture. No 2 bus takes you to Valletta or you can walk just along the waterside to the ferry. A number of places to eat in the village square or along the waterfront make Birgu a great relaxing destination or base to visit Malta. Had a fabulous tasty meal at BeBirgu in their pretty courtyard. The only thng we would avoid if visiting Birgu again would be to stay at 12-16 Pacifiku Scicluna. Not a good accommodation (see reviews for room 2). Please avoid it.

    Fantastic architecture and much quieter than Valetta which is easily reached by bus or ferry. You had to go to Valetta to get anywhere else on the island. Lovely square and friendly people. Loads to do and see in Birgu

    Birgu is very sweet, there is major work going on in the main square, but its almost over, and it will look great once its finished, the town will get back to normal. There are problems for cars because some of the access roads are closed for the square, our taxi got a bit lost trying to find the street! There are little shops and quite a few restaurants, the waterfront is lovely. Its easy getting around, the buses are not far and the ferry is really fast. Altogether I can recommend Birgu for a good place to stay whilst in Malta.

    If you travel to Malta then Birgu is a great place to stay.

    If you travel to Malta then Birgu is a great place to stay. You can wander down to the marina and catch a ferry to Valletta or Gozo. You can check out the super yachts and have an inexpensive cocktail at happy hour on the waterfront. There are lots of old buildings to wander around. You can use Birgu as a base to explore other parts of the Maltese Islands, such as the Blue Grotto or the set of the Popeye movie.

    I had time to stroll around some of the area with its narrow streets and good views of each part of the harbour. It was refreshingly peaceful and untouched although it is obviously having quite a bit of investment in the properties and streets, which is good to see.
