Very quiet area, bus stop 3 minutes walk (Rinella) 20 minutes Valletta, 2 shops nearby. Local beach 6 minutes walk, there is also a snack bar. The apartment is very well equipped, comfortable, the terrace has a fantastic view. The host is helpful, the communication is excellent.I recommend it to everyone

We loved this hotel from the moment we arrived. The reception staff were incredibly polite and helpful. A special thanks to Nirosha, who went above and beyond to assist us with every request. The breakfast was great and suited both us and the kids perfectly. It was always a pleasure to return to the hotel after a day out exploring Malta.

Amery House is a beautiful and welcoming place, close by the sea, ferry's, bus stops and the main places in Sliema, but placed in a silent street. Rooms are spacious, warm and clean. The king size bed are very comfortable. Breakfast is very tasty and with a lot of choice. Coffee is very good! Staff is kind, polite and very quick to help in case of need; when I needed to communicate with them they replied very quickly.

    Kalkara is nice as it's in the old part of the city - but Malta as a whole has become over-commercialised and personally I wouldn't go back. The beaches are rock in the main so if you want sandy beaches maybe look elsewhere.

    Kalkara is a quieter area than main city but a lovely area to stay. Learn about best transport options - local bus, ferries or small boats, and walking. Check out local restaurants - not many but all have a different charm (check opening hours).

    Kalkara is very special.

    Kalkara is very special. It's away from the crowds but very close to the 3 cities It has maintained its authenticity and probably the best place to stay if you looking for a connection with Malta.

    Amazing old house full of character - both the furnishings and the building itself. Location is very convenient for visiting the 3 Cities and Valletta. Highlight is definitely the view from the roof top terrace of the boats on Kalkara Creek!
