The location of the hotel is perfect, it has the most beautiful beach just a few steps from the room. People are incredibly nice and friendly, always helpful, and really go the extra mile to make the guests happy. I got treated like a princess and the employees of this hotel are people I will never forget! Dj and live music at night were super nice. Many options for water sports and activities. Everything about our experience was perfect from the very beginning. We had an absolutely wonderful time on our vacation, and the entire staff did a fantastic job in making our stay truly unforgettable. Our time at the restaurants was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we were well cared for. Their thoughtful service truly elevated our entire stay. And the food, every single meal, was absolutely delicious from start to finish! A special mention goes to Ram, whose outstanding hospitality in the restaurants turned our dinners into something far beyond a 4-star experience. He made each evening feel extra special, and we’re incredibly grateful for his dedication and charm. I also have to mention the stunning beach right in front of the hotel. It’s by far the most beautiful stretch of coastline in the entire area. Crystal clear water, soft sand, and peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Mauritius is truly something special, a perfect blend of natural beauty, warm hospitality, and unforgettable experiences. We would absolutely return to this hotel and are already looking forward to our next stay.

I liked and enjoyed absolutely everything about this hotel. People who work in this hotel are the sweetest human beings I have ever met! I had some small situation when I did not feel well bc of sunburn, and the way how I was treated and everyone took care of me was incredible. Food is pure heaven! The hotel has a calm very luxurious atmosphere and when it comes to design, it is just stunning. I felt like I am living in a dream and I cannot wait to come back :)

Overall, it was such a great experience for a family with a 1 year old. • Loved the outdoors, so much vegetation and plants. So green, esthetic, zen. Nice beach and crystal blue water. Nice beach bar with good cocktails. • Beautuful infinity pools - although not too large, they were just enough for our needs. • Friendly and welcoming staff. Especially at the restaurant, they were so nice, helpful, and smiley with us and our baby. We had some special food-related requirements for the baby, and they were always happy to help. • The food - it was a feast! Sooooo delicious, large variety, accomodating various cousines (international and local) and many vegetarian options. • The room - after the first night we changed with another room, at ground level, with direct access to the pool. We liked it a lot. Staying on our terrace, we had a direct view of the pool, beach, ocean, and all surrounding greenery. Very nice.

A truly stunning resort with beautiful fittings and finishes that made the rooms feel more like a cozy bohemian home than a typical hotel room. The thoughtful touches, like the staff placing out your slippers and turning down the bed cover while you’re at dinner, added a personal touch. The beach was the best we visited in Mauritius, with crystal-clear turquoise waters, soft white sand, and plenty of beach beds, which made it the perfect place to relax. We loved the Mediterranean restaurant, which served authentic Italian pizzas - amazing that we could order them right to our beach bed and enjoy them by the water. The buffet breakfast was incredible and by far the best we've had at any resort. The buffet dinner ordered different themed nights, including a fantastic Mauritian dinner complete with sega dancers. Dining at the Indian restaurant on-site was also a highlight, with delicious food that we thoroughly enjoyed and exceptional service. Location was fantastic and a short stroll to the public beach where you could experience the local street food.

Absolutely loved my stay at Mau Lakaz. The place was very neat and clean. We were offered complimentary tea bags which was great given that I am a tea lover. The view from the swimming pool was cherry on the cake. The host was very responsive. No noisy neighbours, which is a plus. Loved the master bedroom's bathroom and walking closet. Very well equipped - Iron, Hair dryer, utensils, steamer, vertical steamer iron, lots of towels (even pool towels), hangers, dish washer, hair and body shower gel (2 in 1), bbq, oven and big fridge. Kudos to that! There was also many safety signs. Thank you for hosting us Mau Lakaz.

Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat for snorkelling. Your guest relations team says to check in the morning since the boat club has closed. They should be able to access & make reservations 24 * 7 - Simply unacceptable answer. If the boat is full, get another boat to make the guests happy: it costs very little. We ended up renting a boat for 5,000 MUR & had a great time. The resort is too large for personalized service.

Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are...

Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are hotels and a golf course without much else. So if you are looking for a resort with facilities ie shops / bars & restaurants outside of your hotel there isn't much within walking distance there is hardly anything. If you have a car Flacq is a 15 min drive away with the Market and Supermarket. The beach is quiet and beautiful.

Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed. They go out of their way to assist. Ravin is an amazing person. We had only breakfast included. Food and drinks are generally quite expensive. Similar to what you will pay in a 5 star hotel in London. Gardens and facilities are excellent. Will definitely visit again. A small complaint about housekeeping was immediately attended to and a bottle of champagne was offered as a gift.

Everything about this hotel is just perfect. The poolside is perfect and ideal for families with kids. Even the beach toys for kids, is provided by the hotel near the poolside. Staff is very friendly, they try their best to serve. Food is delicious. Seaside has a very pictureque. The boat tour to the islands, İle aux Cerf was excellent. It is a must see!! Check in was very easy and Shevich explained every detail about abour stay. The hotel upgraded our room, thank you to the staff and hotel management for making our stay perfect!

I enjoyed so much my stay at Lux Belle Mare, everything was spotless - room, beach, pool, food, any resting areas. I loved the beach which is both long and wide, seemed enough space for everyone. The room and the whole design of the hotel are cozy and you can find something to do in every corner. Also, the staff is welcoming and friendly and the food exquisite. They even have a photo studio where you can request an outdoor photo session, for additional charge.

Very nice, small and calm place with such a beautifull beach. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Very nice staff allways ready to help and give you the best from them. Good food but we would appreciate more often sea food. Overall we had enough food and drinks. Lots of activities on the Beach as well on the sea. We fell in love to these two strays (dogs) staying around hotel. Would appreciate to give them water and smthg small to eat, they would be greatfull 🙏🐾🌞
