It was the best holiday ever. Incredible staff, beautiful beach and the snorkelling round the reef was amazing. The food at the hotel was 5 star. The kitchen even cooked up our catch for us after we went squid fishing. There was always a great selection and plenty of choice. The lady who makes omelettes in the morning was the best. The lady who cleaned are room was so friendly and did an outstanding job. I got my nails done and had 2 massages in the spa which were incredible! The thing we will truly remember is the friendless of all the staff, they couldn’t do enough for us, so professional and always with a smile. Especially Santos who worked on the bar! Thank you again!

We loved staying at Talamba Blue. The accommodation was nice and spacious, the kids spent hours in the beautiful pool and access to the beach was just a short walk down the road.

Overall great experience at Mermaid Cove - the Small Cove is bigger than what it looks like on the pictures. It is an extremely well-equipped apartment with a super cosy vibe - and it is very quiet (except for the occasional sound of the planes taking off/landing). Self-check in is super convenient, and the host was super responsive to our needs. We had a great time and will definitely be back and greatly recommend it. Bonus point is that it’s super close the beach!

We stayed 10 days in Anantara and it was just great! Naomi at reception welcomed us and she made sure during our stay that we were happy. The reception team and housekeeping team took very good care of us during our stay. They organise a birthday cake surprise for my fiancé birthday, this gesture was really sweet. Iqbal the front office manager it’s a blessing for the resort. He gave us a list of places to visit on the island as well as many advices. The housekeeping team was also good. Thank you Marius and Thomas that made the bed decorations for our arrival and my fiancé's birthday as well. They were servicing the room twice per day (morning and evening). Our room was with garden view, incredibly spacious and so quiet. The garden view from the room was like waking up in paradise, we didn’t want to leave. The bar was amazing. We enjoyed the drinks, the live music and the staff was super friendly and warmly. The position of the hotel is ok, very close to the airport, 1 hour by car to the main attractions. We had a car so we didn’t have any problem. The pool was nice and relaxing. The Hotel organised an amazing bonfire night with complimentary drinks. The room service is good we ordered food many times and it was much better than the buffet in Horizon. The porters did also great job, they took care of our car and luggage in our arrival and departure. We also had a massage at the Spa which was fantastic. We highly recommend Anantara and we will definitely come back again in the future. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay unforgettable.

    The best snorkel spot in Mauritius we have seen. I wish I could stay for 2 days. This is not a top tourist destination but highly recommended for everyone looking for a quite place, relax and explore life under the water

    We stayed for a day at the Shandri Beachcomber (bought a day pass) and the snorkeling from their beach was fantastic . Absolute amazing location but I wouldn't stay overnight there. Way too exensive for a dated resort and we weren't impressed by the quality of food and drink (it is an all inclusive resort) but you can't beat the location.

    No ATM to draw cash.. most shops only deal with cash. Blue bay has a bus stop that takes 15 minutes to get to Mahebourg from where you can take a bus to any part off the Island. The Blue Bay Beach has absolutely clear and still water making it a wonderful experience just to laze in the Water

    We had the privilege of visiting and staying in Blue Bay, and it was an incredible experience. Villa de Alisha holiday house was absolutely fantastic! Each room was equipped with its own bathroom, making it both convenient and private. The house was spacious, well-stocked with all the necessary cutlery and linen, and featured air conditioning in every room—a much-appreciated bonus in the warm climate. The highlight, however, was the indoor swimming pool, which added an extra touch of luxury. The only thing you need to arrange is your own food, as everything else is provided. Conveniently, there’s a shopping mall nearby with a large food court and various other shops. The restaurants in the Blue Bay area were another highlight of our trip. The staff at every venue were incredibly friendly, and there was a wonderful variety of food options to choose from. The Blue Bamboo restaurant, in particular, stood out with its vibrant atmosphere, making it a memorable spot for visitors. The flea market was another standout experience. It’s a pity it’s only held once a week, as there was such an incredible variety of items to choose from. I wish I had known this beforehand—I would have stayed much longer than just an hour! Getting around the island was also very convenient, thanks to the bus services available. Public transportation made exploring the island much easier and more enjoyable. Transportation overall was seamless, thanks to a reliable driver who was just a WhatsApp message away. He promptly picked us up from the airport, took us around the island, and ensured a smooth journey back to the airport at the end of our stay. One of the best parts of our trip was the Catamaran excursion. The crew was absolutely hilarious and kept us entertained throughout, making it an unforgettable adventure. Our time in Blue Bay and at Villa de Alisha was truly magical, and we can’t wait to return!

    Good Place to explore from. Local Bus service..good access to Mahebough - nice market- buy a hat😇 Close to Jeremy point where you take a Catamaran cruise ...defnitely worth it!! Close to Cocos jetty where you start your full daytrip to the private Cocos Island for a full day of treats Best place to stay @ Blue Berryl The perfect view of Blue Bay Good Restaurants and snack bars Blue Bay the hidden secret of Mauritius

    Blue bay is perfect for a typically Mauritian beach holiday. There are no large shops or fancy restaurants. There is a shopping centre a short ride away, but in general this is a quiet area, which is exactly what we wanted. It was our fifteenth, yes 15th visit to Le Peninsula Bay hotel, and it is perfect for our needs. The hotel is not a 4 or 5 star, but a very good 3 star. Most rooms have sea views. Try the Ocean View rooms. Really worth it.

    We didn't get the chance to stay with Julie and Steeve overnight. We used it as an alternative to an airport lounge for a layover in Mauritius. It was perfect for a shower, change of clothes and somewhere to keep luggage while we enjoyed dinner in Blue Bay. Julie and Steeve were very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend as a nice spot to stay if you have an early morning flight also as it is close to the airport or if you want to explore Blue Bay

    We only needed a room for the day as we were flying out at 10 pm. Making this hotel a great place to hang out, shower, and prep for your flight. We were given a room to the rear of the property, but that had bay views from the balcony. Lovely hot water with plenty of pressure in the shower. It has a basic kitchenette, but we didn't use it. Situated right on blue bay beach, an excellent swimming beach.

    Awesome find, 1 minute to the beautiful Blue Bay. Calm location, planes only heard during the day. Perfect location, 15 min from/to the airport. Beautiful pool/chill out area, spacious rooms and a delicious breakfast. Polite staff, absolutely perfect. Loved it. Some restaurants around, Blue Spot is very nice.
