Aleksandra and Akash were amazing hosts, super friendly and very helpful. They gave us great recommendations on things to do nearby! They were very accommodating and the room was great. We loved our stay here! We also highly recommend doing a cooking class at the restaurant down the road, which Akash may be able to organise.

The hosts were lovely 🙂. Very welcoming. The room, upstairs apartment is comfortable and nice. Everything is provided for. Cooker, microwave, fridge, cutlery. The shops and supermarket are nearby. I experienced a home cooked mauritian dinner which was delicious. Rochester waterfall is nearby. The host kindly took me to see the warerfall on my first day. It was amazing to see. She also kindly took me to visit other nearby places.amd advised me on routes and attractions to see. I thanked her because she took the time out of her schedule. I know it's not always possible to have time when running a guest house. There are several nearby public beaches within walking distance that are uncrowded and peaceful. There are many other places to visit and unfortunately I did not book enough days. I will definitely come back next time.

Anusha and Krishan are the friendlies hosts you can imagine, they are very helpful and try to make your stay a home away from home. The breakfast ist plentiful and really tasty (one of the best breakfasts we ever had). They are Always their and happy to have a chat. If we come back to Surinam, we would for sure stay with them. The two Restaurants nearby are really good too.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at KOA and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. The staff at this hotel truly set it apart. A special thank you to Utam, Kavi and Dess for their outstanding service. It’s rare to encounter such a passionate and committed group of people, and they made my stay unforgettable. Everything about Shanti Maurice is outstanding! Where do I start? It is one of the most thoughtfully conceptualised properties I have stayed at. From the flora and fauna, the avian population, to the beautifully designed rooms and common areas, it reflects an ethos of sustainable luxury. The spa should be on your list when you stay at the property. It is for a reason that they are the top rated spa in Mauritius. My aesthetician was Sheila, and she was amazing. I actually dozed off during the facial, that is how good she was! Overall, I would highly recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway in very natural surroundings with spectacular views from each room!

The apartment is spotless and the Host is just a lovely person, I can't recommend it highly enough, there's even a small restaurant 1 minutes walk, shhh, don't tell everyone it'll be booked when we need it.

Jacqueline and her sister are really sweet. the overall experience is very personal and unique. Jacqueline takes care of us and share information with us where we can visit and explore. We talk almost twice a day, we share our traveling experience and she shared things in her life. She also sometimes makes us some breakfast and desserts when we don’t have any planned food. Jacqueline is really good at making handcrafts, her place is even more beautiful than her picture. She has a small garden with all kind of fruits and she even made us some gems and prepare fruits when we arrive🥭 They are super good 😌 Her places is super close to the gris gris beach which is beautiful. There are a wonderful track to walk on and a waterfall to swim. Very challenging but as well really rewarding. we also visit Lê morne mountain, crocodile farm with our rental car. Those are really nice for 3-4 days of visiting.

Beautiful wood work, nice people, clean, restaurants and shops around the corner. We booked 2 nights 2 appartments but if we knew how nice it was we would have stayed a few nights more.
