The hotel is well-located in the vibrant Tamarina area. The hotel is situated across the road from the local beach where you can enjoy swimming, surfing and kayaking in the river. The hotel has a beautiful family pool, as well as an adult only roof top pool where you can enjoy cocktails and getting to know new people. The rooms are well-appointed and there area beach towels and mats in a basket for your convenience. There is a cooler box in the roof which can be filled at the bar to take to your room or the beach. I highly recommend the All Inclusive package

Fantastic apartment, all the modern conveniences, very comfortable beds and with excellent communication from the owners before and during stay. They had literally thought of everything we might need and provided it. There were beach towels and international adaptor plugs and mosquito spray. Felt like home away from home. A beautiful part of Mauritius with access to quiet beach for swimming and walking. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Studio d'Artiste. Keivan is a lovely host. The room is spacious and clean, the view to the pool and the whole garden is beautiful. There is a small outdoor kitchen with a fridge and breakfast with fruits, bread, butter, jams and a variety of teas is available. We enjoyed our stay and had a lovely time there.

The aparment was large and perfectly situated with a view of both the ocean and the mountains. It was well equipped, even for cooking. It offers both a large terrace with jacuzzi where it invites you to have breakfast or dinner, overlooking the sunrise/sunset. There is a well-stocked large supermarket nearby, and the beach is within walking distance. Tamarin is a town strategically located for trips to the whole island. Cécil was a great host, friendly, always advised us with tips e.g. restaurants and very communicative.

The apartment is very tastefully designed, that helps you to rest a lot. Everything is clean! You have everything you need in the kitchen. Splendid terrace to relax in the evening. Stay at Bellevue Tamarin was absolutely amazing. Very clean and I had everything I needed. Wifi in my room wasn’t working, but I was offered to work on the balcony at the penthouse, so it was much more better option with a beautiful view as an bonus. Fabrice and Pascal are such a welcoming and kind people. And also what you can excpect as a bonus are two german shepards with puppies ❤️. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for great memory and your kindest.

Sure La Preneuse is the nearest beach, though If you're looking for the best beaches around, take that trip to Le Morne beach, it's worth it. We went to the only Thai restaurant in the area,'Ousaporn', indeed an oasis in that small town, great Deco, felt right, the staffs were admirable, the food was succulent but portion were quite small disproportionately over-priced . A day at the beach at Flic en flac is worth the tour, watch the sun set into the deep sea, then hit one of the restaurant around the area.

Great first time visit to the Island.

Great first time visit to the Island. Beautiful beaches with a multitude of activities for all ages. Christmas Day boat trip to Ile Aux Benitiers, which included a tasty braai (barbeque) swimming with dolphins and snorkeling around Crystal Rock

At the Veranda Tamarin hotel - the only real turn-off was...

At the Veranda Tamarin hotel - the only real turn-off was that only one tv channel was in English - BBC World. All others in French / Creole. No mainstream music channels. Tamarin is a small village, full of friendly people. The atmosphere is open and you get the sense of tranquility and safety. It is centrally located for South and West visiting. something for everyone.

The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic.

The brand new SUPER U, is fantastic. You can get anything there, even gifts. The Coffee shop at the Super U was two times cheaper than the other Coffee Shops. It is not very expensive at the Super U. We ate at the Happy Rajah and the Casa Pizza. The food was fantastic.

The hotel has a nice spa, the activities were nice including Credits depending on the length of your stay. The staff is very nice and mostly helpful. However, the shower was broken and the shower door was leaking water so that every time we took a shower half the bathroom was under water. The baths and toilet were not properly cleaned and the sun lounger at the pool were dirty.

We had a wonderful time at Shanti Ghar. The hosts are wonderful and you immediately feel very comfortable. We really loved everything (the animals, the garden, the guest house, the delicious food) and will definitely come again. We really liked the area around Tamarin. With a rental car you can reach many beautiful places quickly and easily. You quickly get used to the left-hand traffic. Thank you for the great tips and the recommendation to surf. We had so much fun surfing with Hugo. Thank you for the fantastic time we will remember forever!

The rooftop pool was a bonus feature and used it often for quiet sunbathing and to take in the stunning sea and mountain views. The room had everything i needed (kettle,fridge, balcony) to spend time in it, and was nicely decorated with a relaxed holiday feel. Like most hotels the drinks are marked up in price but you can buy beer and snacks from the shops near the hotel. Make the most of free classes like aquafit, yoga and kayaking the tamarin river.

Location was central, close to Tamarin beach, local stores and attractions. A clean, quiet place to stay that still lets you feel amongst the area. Felt like a home away from home, with all the comforts. Will and his family were lovely and accomodating and quick to respond when we had questions. Highly recommend and would come again :)

While there was a misunderstanding with what the minimum amount of nights you can stay, the owner, Anil Was more very understanding and let us stay for the one night with no problems. He is extremely friendly and the location is amazing. You can go for long walks on tamarin beach or go for an amazing surf Definitely the money's worth

Great tips from Harold and Magali. They were very helpful. They provided kayaks so you could see the dolphins in Tamarin Bay. It is advisable to have a rented car to access the property .
