Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff Deepa was wonderful and would leave these beautiful designs on our bed after cleaning. Food was great and the evening bands were excellent.

We had the studio upstairs. The apartment had everything you could need. Kerstan the host was excellent and could not have been more helpful. She is ver approachable and gave us great tips about places to go and where to eat. She even booked us a table ahead of time as we were arriving over Christmas. Kerstan suggested excursions and even dropped us to the boat. We would definitely recommend Casa Frangipani to anyone coming to Mauritius

    La Koquillishe is located between two excellent restaurants : La Case a Poisson and Tino's which have incredible food for reasonable prices. Not to be missed. Also, La Koquillishe has a taxi service which is extremely efficient and correctly priced. Ask for Patrick.

    A bit beaten town, lots of drunks and abandoned houses. There are some nice restaurants around (Chez Tino, Green Island Beach Restaurant) and places to visit (Île aux Cerfs, GRSE waterfall), but overall not to stay for too long.

    The village is charming, easy to go on the boat to other islands. I recommend a visit to Ile aux Cerf, you can relax or do some sport e.g waterski, swimming. By boat to GRSE Waterfall. Take a BBQ lunch to one of the other island there.

    It is a great location to see traditional Mauritian life.

    It is a great location to see traditional Mauritian life. A few minutes bus ride is the unspoilt beach at Palmar. It is the best beach we have seen on the island. The reef is close to shore and the water is crystal clear.

    1)Breakfast very good. 2)Dinner so so, very difficult to get a booking at the restaurants, always "fully booked". Even the price of the buffet and wines is extremely expensive comparing with other 5 starts in other places as Maldives or Seychelles. 3) Beach is wonderful. 4) Staff so friendly and always smiling. Live bands everyday is a very big plus. 5) Arrangements to pick us up at the airport, reception at the hotel, and introduction to the hotel was excellent too

    The location is fantastic, close to restaurants and public activities. The breakfast was as good as any hotel. Service was accommodating and helpful. Friday and Saturday nights are noisy from the streets, but that is a by-product of the central location. The staff was always willing to assist with queries and advice, and super helpful and efficient.

    I enjoyed everything during our stay at Silver Beach. Our room was comfortable, the staff was helpful and kind, and I had read the food wasn't great but I do not agree and liked it very much. We traveled in July, when the weather is not as hot anymore, so there weren't that many people at the hotel and it was very relaxing.

    Great, calm and quiet little hotel with exceptionally kind staff. We are vegetarian and the kitchen chef always made sure to check whether we had enough to eat, he even went out of his way to prepare extra things for us when the buffet was light on veggie options.
