This hotel is wonderful. Great service, very clean and modern. The staff were excellent. Our rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding changed as requested. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced with delicious choices including made to order eggs and pancakes. The room was spacious although the double bed was small. Great location. A short walk to good restaurants and the beautiful and interesting main square.

The historic center was enjoyable the rest of the city not so much. I liked interacting with people at the museums. The city center is the most interesting part but was impressed by the economic and industrial progress.

It is a beautiful in and around Guadalajara.

It is a beautiful in and around Guadalajara. The tours were great but I recommend taking the tour to Tequila the day before or two days before you leave and wait to buy your “jarito” on the last stop. It’s a great way to end a vacation. I’m not a drinker and I enjoyed it!!! Find the Tequila sign, there’s a 10/12 year old boy that takes magnificent pictures.

    Guadalajara is a large city.

Guadalajara is a large city. The colonial, historic central area we have walked many times. Lots of shops and stores to browse and shop. There are plenty of hotels in the area. But, the Hotel de Mendoza is best for the historic district in my estimation. The Hotel Morales is also a nice choice. Across from Morales is a wonderful taqueria! The Mendoza is next to the Degollado Theatre where world class talent is staged in a beautiful, stone-quarried Greco-Roman-like structure The Degollado Theatre Restaurant is a magnet for fine dining. It has an extensive menu that is quite appealing! Very pleasing to eat there and watch the pantomimes, clowns, etc on famous Plaza Tapatia.

Guadalajara used to be a beautiful town in the 1960s, it was all the rage when it started growing around that time. The colonial and modernist contrasts made it an excellent destination for leisure and business alike. However, it is now a hellhole. The ample avenues and roads built in the 60s are now in disrepair, there's construction everywhere, and the sewage system can't keep up with the demand during the rainy season. People drive fast and furiously, without much regard for traffic laws. The once beautiful colonial downtown is now a mess of traffic and buildings covered in smoke, dirt, and some sort of goo. It breaks my heart to see how Guadalajara went from being a flourishing metropolis to a chaotic mess of traffic and pollution.

The hotel, for the price was good, but the hotel becomes a hip hop place from Thursday to Sunday. It had been such a quiet place and we hardly slept Thursday. We complained and we were moved to lower floor and it became bearable. The staff was fantastic, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The place was good for walking around. I would highly recommend for young adults.

I usually don’t write reviews unless the service is excellent. I had a few problems during my trip before arriving to the hotel, but Israel was able to help me out and even after I was there he was very friendly and helpful. He is good in what he does and this makes people enjoy there time at the stay. A good receptionist is the most import thing to have in your business and you guys have the best one. Thank you Israel for being part of my experience in México 😊

We enjoyed our stay at Bohostel. It is located in nice and safe neighbourhood (a bit loud at night though, but earplugs help a lot here), 30 min walk from Zona Centro. In close proximity there are bars and restaurants as well as groceries and laundries. Right in the hostel there is Boho Cafe offering tasty breakfasts and quality coffee. On the rooftop one can enjoy Guadalajara view. Room was clean and equipped in fan and TV. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The location - Colonia Americana feels super safe. The hotel is surrounded by tons of restaurants and more. The room's decor is super modern with wooden panels yet the building is very industrial and minimalistic. Small details like the nespresso machine and the tap bedside lamp are a great touch. Honestly a steal with where the rooms are priced. Would recommend to anyone headed to Guadalajara

Hotel is in a great location -- walking distance to much of what we wanted to see and do in Guadalajara. The room itself was functional and fine -- we enjoyed staying there, the bed was comfy and the shower was warm. Also like that the staff helped me get my stuff back that I stupidly left in the room when we left. Oops!
