This is a beautiful town. Totally walkable. There are mamy beautiful galleries. Music on the plaza in early evening. Free from the cartel violence that has come to other resort towns in Mexico. We loved the tour out to Coronado Island. As well as the trip to San Javier and our Tabor Canyon hike. We ate in many little restaurants such as Pan que Pan, Dory Luz, and Orlando. Loreto is a very pretty, tourist friendly town.
Loreto is a very pretty, tourist friendly town. Streets are easy to walk and safe. There are many shops, restaurants and hotels in a close area and walking the Malecon is beautiful. It is a great place to start an excursion on the water or in the mountains. This is my third visit to Loreto and I would readily visit again.
