BelgiumWhat an amazing place! Loved the history behind the place and reading all the biographies of the famous visitors on the walls. The room, the grounds and the pool were lovely. The staff was so kind and welcoming. We took a tour of the plantation in a vintage vehicle, it seems expensive but we had a wonderful time trying all the fruit, hearing the history of the property and listening to our great guide.

Elissio and his staff put their heart and soul into their establishment. Make sure you have a bite to eat and drink at the attached cafe/bar.

What made the say wonderful was the peace and quiet, green surroundings and, best of all, Ramon's amazing hospitality. My mother was ill and he went out of his way to help us. Definitely recommend his place.

Spent about 3 hours at Uxmal site.
Spent about 3 hours at Uxmal site. Lots of large sites to see and you can wander at your own pace. It was my favorite of the sites we visited on the trip. Tickets and entry could be clearer and signage at sites in Mexico is always lacking, but the quality of the ruins and architecture is fantastic. The scale, intimacy of the visit, and amount of ruins is superb.

To really get to experience Mayan culture, the near by towns...
To really get to experience Mayan culture, the near by towns and cenotes and more archeological sites I would recommend a week in Uxmal .
I loved every minute we were there .
I would also recommend having a much spending money as possible, not because things are expensive it is that there is so much to do and it will cost money .
Horse riding , vintage 4WD hire , the prices for the sites and tours has risen due to the pandemic .
Also supporting local artists .

The site is wonderful and the hotel was surrounded by orchards birds flowers amazing palms. A couple of small interesting local museums with animals local Mayan customs and chocolate cultivation. The Lodge restaurant which also belonged to the hacienda estate was a short walk and of a high standard.

We traveled by car because my older sister has specific food...
We traveled by car because my older sister has specific food needs due to ALS. A blender, two boxes of food and a cooler were graciously hauled to and from our room by the hotel staff. They could not have been more accommodating and helped to supplement her diet with fresh food from the kitchen.
It was my sister's fifth and probably final trip to the awe inspiring sites of the Yucatan. We are so grateful for the experience.

Uxmal charges US citizen 4 times regular admission.
Uxmal charges US citizen 4 times regular admission. Hotel Uxmal Maya charges 33% more for using US money or cards. Do not go if you don’t want to feel ripped off. Nothing special about hotel as at every turn you have to be guarded about being ripped off.

Amazing property. So peaceful and relaxing. Luis(Rex) was very friendly, helpful and resourceful. He recommend us a tour guide for Uxmal and we love this tour because it was very informative. All staff in hotel is friendly and helpful. We wish to stay a couple of days more in this wonderful hotel. A breakfast was amazing!!! Hope we to visit this place in future again.

The hotel is super atmospheric, it's very quiet and chill. We wanted to visit the Uxmal Archeological Zone first in the morning and for that it's perfect - 5 mins walk. We had the ruins for us, no one else was there at 8 am - and that was priceless. Good price.

Great pool, rooms simple but very big and quite comfortable. They added a coffee machine for me which was great. Location for Uxmal is unbeatable. And the choc museum is next door. Helpful staff.
