Brenda and James are amazing! They are very knowledgeable and super friendly. They will give amazing recommendations, and are accommodating (even when you need a last minute ride or forget to order breakfast the night before and show up right near the end...) The rooms do not have AC but the nights cool off and the fan was more than enough for us and I tend to run very warm. The location was perfect for us, it's a 30 minute walk to the park (or a quick ride) but it was exceptionally quiet and peaceful. We ended up spending a morning reading on the covered porch because it was pouring rain. It was idyllic.

The location is perfect, it is within the national park, so you don't need to wait for the transportation if you have a tour. There are many possibilities of food in the restaurant. The guided tours are interesting and well organized. Laundry is available and returned clothes cleaner than they were when they were new :)

The stay was awesone :) The owners are kind and helpful, we felt like a part of the family! they even hide our clothes from outside to inside when it started to rain / was windy and we werent "at home". They cook very well and can prepare packed lunch for your trips as well. Theres a common area with sofa where it's not that hot during the day. The room is big but sparcely furnished. Theres plenty of inside/outside hangers to dry your clothes after washing it a bucket. The shower was pleasant cold - just the right temperature not to be cold but to be freshened in the heat.

Great place to meet other travelers and the food is so good!! Please note that there is no warm shower and no electricity during the day. It’s a 30minute (if you walk relaxed) walk to HQ but Diana can bring you as well (for a small fee at the end).

Dina was a great host and really made our trip to Mulu awesome. Her provided breakfast was amazing as were the meals we purchased for dinner. Great spot super close to the park and airport as well. Looking forward to returning!

We loved it. The warm welcome, the homemade breakfast, the feeling of having a home at Mulu and of course the caring hosts Dina and Robert. Room 2 is part of and located at their Homestay "D' Cave Homestay": only a 5 minute walk from the Mulu National Park entrance and the airport.

This review is based on the situations in a remote place like Mulu. The stay was good. It's about 1-1.5 km from Mulu national park and airport, so it's in walkable location. The host Helena and Shania was supportive. The room had 3 single beds. Initially I thought it would be a dormitory type of stay. But they have multiple rooms. It is a budget homestay. They prepare dinner and lunch is you ask for. Prices are at par with Mulu park restaurant.
