We had a wonderful stay with Mr Bam’s family. It was Hari Raya and the family welcomed us to join in their festivities for the national holidays, which was so lovely and unexpected. We enjoyed the river cruises with Bam’s son each day and lucked out seeing the Pygmy elephants, proboscis monkeys, an orangutan and crocodile. The rooms are simple and comfortable for the time you need near Kinabatangan River. The food prepared each day was delicious as well. It was nice to know the breakdown of accommodation, food, transportation and activities too. Mr Bam had great communication with us before and during our stay.

Great location in middle of a protected forest, rich biodiversity and excellent guides that organize canoë rides and forest walks in which you get to see a lot! Our guide Mica was very professional and caring. We we're treated as family and everybody at the lodge made our stay a wonderful expérience.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was excellent, with a great variety and quality. Service throughout the property was good—staff were friendly and attentive. I was especially impressed by how eco-friendly the place is; it's clear they prioritize sustainability. Really amazing experience. Did their 2 night/3 day package and it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and they gave really good portions. Would definitely recommend it as a good budget option to do the river cruises and experience the river in general. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed the stay.

Great location on the river and basic but comfortable rooms. The meals were good thanks to Yanti’s cooking. Yanti also helped to organise transport back to the airport.

Every people are so friendly and nice! Hospitality is great. Due to this hospitality, you feel safe and you can enjoy jangle without fear. Sound of insects, birds and nature things are so great in and around guest house. You use all your seances and you find your own new ability. I went with 74 years old grandfather and 70 years old grandmother. They did not expect such a jangle adventure, but they are so happy about this stay and they enjoyed a lot, but you need to take about 500 steps to the guest house though. Now they have more confidence to try everything. We saw many other European tourist on the river cruse boat. Many of them had grey hair. How old you are, you can enjoy this place and experience if you are open to new things. I went with 4, 8, 11 years old kids too. They enjoyed too. They loved pancake so much. Thank you for meeting allergy request too. Communication before trip was also very nice and quick. Thank you again for the great experience!
