Wonderful location, very comfortable rooms, delightful, helpful and very friendly staff, fabulous pool with bar area and small firepit, excellent food, huge firepit to sit around with a sundowner or after dinner, AND a watering hole to view wildlife drinking. With the Botswana-Namibian border just some 100km away, this venue is most convenient for a stop-over after a long drive though I would strongly recommend staying at least a couple of nights!

The premises was lovely and kid friendly. At reception there is an outdoor pool with slide, heated indoor pool, Boma, animals for the kids to look at and an outdoor play area. The chalet where we stayed was spacious and had a lovely view and private braai area. We had a friendly peacock come visit us and the kids fed it a few crumbs. The unit has the essential utensils and linen required.

Excellent breakfast with a variety. Dinner was of top quality. Staff was very accommodative to serve dinner to us late at night after being delayed at border post for two hours.

I had such a fabulous stay at Blue Olive. There is lots of open seating outside the room with palm trees, for those that love the outdoors. I enjoyed a beautifully relaxing swim on the first day. And, you are treated to a special breakfast each morning. Absolute value for money. I think I found a new home in Gobabis! I highly recommend Blue Olive :).

our rooms were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff-they were so friendly and accommodation. If there was more to see and do in Gobabis we would of stayed a week, we enjoyed the Windpomp Guest House so much. Highly highly recommended 😀
