Very very very friendly staff that was going all the way for you. We had a friend that had to eat a gluten free breakfast and they were immediately on it to take care of gluten free food for her. The rooms were the perfect size and clean, beds were amazing!

The host, Anja, and her family were wonderfully welcoming and beyond helpful, and accommodated for me travelling with a (sometimes moody) dog. Location is great, within walking distance to the centre, very close to the train station. Communication was wonderful and facilities were perfect. 10/10 :)

B&B De Pottenbakkershoeve is near Meerlo, the hidden gem where time slows down, birds sing actual melodies (probably in harmony), and a nearby castle watches over the land like a benevolent grandparent. Just strolling (and running :) like me) around this picturesque village is like walking through a landscape painting. The bedroom I stayed in was royalty-level plush. I suspect even :) the Ritz hotel would take notes here. Think: enormous bed, equally enormous bathroom, and every modern convenience you didn’t know you needed until you spotted it gleaming under soft light. I wouldn’t be surprised if my room secretly hosted some design award ceremony when I wasn’t looking. And then there was breakfast ... oh, a peak of deliciousness: fresh fruits, cheeses, sliced meats, croissants, jams, butter, and everything else you’d want to power up for either a relaxing day ... or an 18-hour ultra trail run (more on that later). Speaking of Ron and Monique — what absolute legends! They met me at my perfect time (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always easy), responded to every request with a smile, and created an atmosphere that somehow struck the magical balance between warm hospitality and total privacy. I genuinely felt like I was in my own home! This kind of comfort was not just nice ... it was essential! I stayed here before and after the Petranpad Trail Run (112 km, 18 hours of fun and suffering), and the peaceful, supportive environment helped me recover both physically and mentally. Honestly, my legs and knees :) may never forgive me, but my soul thanks Ron and Monique! The wall in my Rose bedroom was covered by the famous “Give every day the chance to become the most beautiful day of your life” commonly attributed to Mark Twain, but it seems to the motto of the hosts! Ron and Monique, thank you for everything. You didn’t just host me ... you gave me a home away from home (with better breakfast - please, do not retell it to my lovely wife!). 🙏❤️

This was one of the most exceptional B&Bs we have ever stayed at. Mario & Jeannette were outstanding hosts from the moment we arrived, even serving us a traditional warm worstenbroodje as we settled in. Breakfast was delicious, with Mario even heading to the baker to get fresh bread first thing in the morning. Everything was from local producers (as far as possible) and with fresh cooked eggs of your choice. The rooms and facilities are of the highest quality and the garden is divine. All in all, I couldn't recommend B&B Overloon more!

The holiday house is next to the owners house. They are located next to their horse stables. They also have two lovely dogs. The location is great if you are using the house as a base. We traveled on day trips to Germany and Utrecht very easily. There is a small village about a mile from the house with a bar but no shop. The house is very clean with a well equipped kitchen.

    It's a very small village, and very quiet. Not much there, but many things to see in the surrounding areas. Each wind-direction merits a day-trip (by bike!) with many interesting sites, great restaurants and (children) activities
