A beautifully restored characterful house in a very pretty village. Everything you could possibly expect and need was there: well equipped kitchen spacious and interesting bathroom and a good living space with dining area. The village has a good selection of grocery stores and restaurants. The transport connection to Amsterdam was outstanding- buses every 20 minutes and a metro connection every ten minutes ( the bus took you to the entrance of the metro train ! 😊Amazing ! Charming town with a wonderful bike trail around a nature...
Charming town with a wonderful bike trail around a nature preserve. Be sure to stop in Bolke cafe across from grocery store. Super friendly barista. Went there every day. Excellent latte. Also love Argentinian Steak House and Cool Bikes--rented a bike for the entire week. Public transportation was efficient and clean. The Pavillion restaurant on Her Twist bike trail was wonderful and right on the water. Overall, a lovely visit! There's a great thrift store across from the grocery store too.
