We arrived late in the evening and found the house and the host equally lovely! After a few hours it already felt like a home to us and we had great conversations just about many a thing. Very glad to have stayed here at this special place! We are leaving with a strong desire to return another time. This is a beautiful history place family owned. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. A great sense of hospitality.

The location couldn’t have been better. A few minutes walk from the station and the gondola and a short stroll into the town. Lovely views of the lake outside the bedroom window. For breakfast, there was something to suit everyone’s taste. Plenty of areas around to sit and relax and the hotel offered luggage storage at no extra cost.

1. location is great, just near train track 1. 2. bed is comfortable, also the temperature of the room. 3. although near the train station, but the noise is acceptable, we sleep well, my husband is sensitive to noise, but he had no complaints of the sounds in night. 4. breakfast is delicious 5. the members are kind

Truly Norwegian feeling, surrounded by old music instruments, cosy reading room, and a classic Nordic student home atmosphere - same as I had at university. Nice mountain view on the gondola. Perfect location - calm but only two streets from main square. Very good value for money.

Amazing view and the host-family is very kind and open to welcome you. Very responsive and pro-active in local recommendations. Photos are accurate, it’s glamping and there is only one accommodation so it’s very private and relaxing :-)

Within a few hours I was contemplating extending my stay (spoiler: I did...) - this apartment is set within a stunning landscape that never creased to amaze every time the view caught my eye. The apartment itself is lovely and I was very comfortable and relaxed during my stay. There are lovely walks in the area and there's clearly plenty to do, particularly in/through nearby Voss. Unni was a great host: responsive and friendly, and provided helpful tips on the surrounding area. I hope to visit again soon! .
