The room was very nice and the breakfast had lots of things to choose from. We arrived later than the normal checkin time but we called ahead and it was no problem checking in late (reception was open 24h).

Great location walking distance to the waterfront, shopping and right behind the park where the view point Fjallusta is located. Cosy room, floor heating in the bathroom which was lovely given the temperatures, comfortable warm bed and delicious breakfast. Friendly staff with a 24 hour reception which was great

We had a room on the top floor, it was cosy - you may see both - the water and the town. Super comfy beds, helpful staff, free umbrellas to borrow. Location was perfect - it's waterfront, not far from the main attractions or a bus stop, you can easily walk. I liked our breakfasts also

Alesund is a stunning town and Hotel Brosundet is right in the heart of it. The building exterior is gorgeous and matched by the lobby and rooms. Be sure to make a reservation at the restaurant in advance! We ate in the cafe and still had a lovely dinner, then stopped by the on-site bar for delicious cocktails. Overall it was an excellent location, clean and modern rooms, and all the amenities needed.
