The Amberley Hotel is an "Oasis" on the out-skirts of Christchurch. Arriving on a late afternoon flight my wife & I just wanted to get out of Christchurch & avoid the "Knock-Off Traffic" around the City. A short 45mins north is the wee town of Amberley & the Amberley Hotel is a good first night stopover after a tiresome day of travel. There are soft beds, good food & cold beer.
