Stayed at Ridgeton over Labour Weekend to attend a family wedding nearby. Exquisite property with beautiful grounds all maintained by Craig and Tammy. Beautifully clean appointed rooms with every amenity catered for including a jar of biscuits to have with tea and coffee and a chocolate on your pillow on arrival. There is a kitchen at the end of the hallway with plates, cutlery and glasses for guests to heat up food in a microwave if required. Breakfast is well catered for all tastes (no special diets) including a selection of cereals and fruit, plus pasteries, toast and fancy breads. Coffee or tea is also available and delivered by your hosts. If you are looking for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Ridgeton is the place to stay with the tranquility and peace of the countryside. Would highly recommend.

The location is absolutely beautiful! Waking up to birdsong and sunlit emerald rolling hills was spectacular, and the treehouse was so cute and unique. We didn't end up using the kitchen, but it looked like there was one available. As the pictures show, the room is small but it's not like we were planning on throwing a party so the intimate, isolated setting was perfect and I'm pretty sure we had the whole grounds to ourselves in early November. The bathroom/shower were in a separate building which was very clean and well stocked, just make sure you take care of any business before going to bed because going down the spiral staircase in the dark is a mild challenge lol.

Have to say as a pet owner finding somewhere to get away just to have some R@R is very hard. These guys were very welcoming and the same with pets. I dont have anything negative to say as it was a all over positive experience. I highly recommend and especially if you have a pet and its holding you back from enjoying life as we will definitely be back . Thanks guys AAA+++

Even though it is a little out of town (Tauranga), really delivers and excels in a quaint, rural environment and comes with all of the modern conveniences that you would expect to find. We were greeted by the hosts upon arrival and shown what to do. The hospitality extended by the hosts was an unexpected delight. Lucky for us, we arrived in avocado picking season and were able to enjoy the bounty of this organic avocado orchard. Forget about Taco Tuesday - this is Taco Supreme! The kitchen is fully kitted out and very good. Some extra farm goodies were supplied, these will depend on what is available at the time (preserves, eggs, etc.). Excellent value for money and we highly recommend!!!

    Omokoroa town was closeby and worth a visit. We had dinner at a Italian restaurant Alma on the beach. Delicious food and great views. It is a 30 min drive to Tauranga, but somewhat slow due to roadworks.

    It's quirky and basic but so relaxing and enjoyable.

    It's quirky and basic but so relaxing and enjoyable. There are the best outdoor showers we've ever used. A communal kitchen with all you need, and with indoor and outdoor tables. A communal caravan to sit and chat, charge up electricals, and a great wifi signal. All set in a beautiful garden with fabulous views and cheerful birdsong. We had good weather, which I'm sure helped, but we would go back.

    The host was so friendly and welcoming the accommodation was beautiful and could not have been cleaner. Breakfast was amazing with homegrown produce and a lovely choice of everything. Would highly recommend
