We booked this cottage in Ashburton as a half way stopover between Mount Cook and Christchurch. What a beautiful spot out in the countryside surrounded by fields, trees, sheep and cattle. A stand alone very chic, beautifully designed 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom bungalow cottage in the grounds of the owners property but completely private. With a lovely outside area, lawn, seating area outside, BBQ and outdoor chairs. The whole house is stylish, elegant and modern with everything you might need for a stay. A very helpful owner on hand to answer any questions. The beds were also very comfy.

The Suites Ashburton is located in the middle of Nelson and Invercargill, halfway of Picton and Dunedin, a good place for travellors to have a stay in between.

Well laid out & comfortable. Melissa even had a basket with toys. Very clean. Probably one of the cleanest properties we’ve stayed in ever.

The hosts were lovely to communicate with. Our arriving late after long journey and work day was no problem. Our room was warm, clean and modern. With all you needed for a over night trip but would have stayed longer happierly. I fully intend to return in the near future. It exceeds alot of accomodations I have stayed at with in the region. Thank you to the hosts for having us and having pride in what you do. It really shows.

I am riding a bicycle. The motel has a special secure room to store the bicycle. The room was big with a kitchen which came in handy. The room was warm and heaters worked well. The bed was comfortable.
