The room was clean and had everything we wanted, we were greeted with a smile and an ease that everything will be taken care of efficiently. Love the spa, was our highlight for our stay. Very quaint and personal for myself and partner. We are private people and enjoyed every moment at Manor.

I like that its private, and the bathroom is amazing! the floors are heated, the lighting effects and the shower itself is spacious and good hot water pressure. I also like that it has a remote for the gate that gives your vehicle access in to accommodation

Full kitchen facilities, beautiful grounds, lovely quiet area. Had a little episode with the door, quick call and they were there to fix it. Comfortable bed, was great to go back and relax in the evening. Lovely to watch sunrise in the morning from the balcony. Country feel but still close to town. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back. 🙂

    The town is next to the Waikato river so you can walk along...

    The town is next to the Waikato river so you can walk along it. They have walking trails also. You can cross the river upstream and visit the huntly power station. There's a lake across the railroad tracks 5 minutes from the town centre where you can picnic or go for a swim.

    We walked around Lake Hakanoa. Really interesting walk. Good picnic spots. Shame some areas had litter. Had a fish meal at Huntly Fish and Chip Shop. Highly recommend. Lovely people. Lovely service. Food was lovely and plentiful. We ate in. We went to Lake Puketrini. Would be good place for a walk and picnic. Unfortunately the Coal museum was closed. There are items referring to the coal mining in the town. They are interesting. some good shops in Huntly. Parking can be at a premium.

    This place is a gem. The building was once a maternity hospital but has been converted into a boutique hotel. There are a mix of rooms, and the prices have been worked out depending on the size, facilities and views. We went for a cheaper one so we didn’t have a view but that was fine for us. The room was well equipped and the bed comfortable. We could park very close to the room which was an advantage. Manor Views also has shared areas which were bright and airy. We enjoyed our brief stay there.
