Maria & Will are simply lovely, we really enjoyed discussing with them! The breakfast simply is incredible, with everything homemade by Maria (excellent quiche, carrot cake muffins, yoghurt, fruits from the garden...) Everything was clean. And we also really enjoyed the sauna. Many thanks!!

This property was unreal. Gorgeous, clean, comfy, cosy, amazing amenities. The owners are so kind & invited us to listen to music/a band with their friends. We felt welcomed but they were also super chill about us doing whatever we wanted. Good location, we walked 25 mins to a pub and it was only 10 min drive from Nelson. 100% recommend!

Great homestay in a residential area that was safe, quiet and away from town centre! The apartment offers amazing views of Nelson harbour and we chose this as it was very close to friends who live nearby. We stayed in autumn so the underfloor heating in the bathroom and electric blankets were a nice touch. Super private and exceptionally clean. The welcome pack of popcorn, crackers & cookies was a nice touch.

    Richmond is a great suburb 15mins from Nelson central . Close to many places and things to do , easy drive to many of the areas attractions. Great boutique movie theatre just 2mins away , shops,beaches, rivers, fishing ponds, shopping , wineries and more

    Good central point to explore the Nelson/Tasman area.

    Good central point to explore the Nelson/Tasman area. Easy drive to the Abel tasman for a boat trip and beaches. Mapua is lovely. We enjoyed driving to the Willow bank heritage village open day in Wakefield and the lovely landscape on the drive there. Also a great bakery in Wakefield. Everything you need shopping wise is very close by in Richmond.

    It's easy to get around Richmond and there are plenty of...

    It's easy to get around Richmond and there are plenty of shopping and eating options. However I personally wouldn't stay there again, unless you have a specific reason to be there as there's not much to see or do - except for a tour of Pic's peanut butter factory. Avoid the main road out of Nelson as this was heavily congested most of the time.

    I am sorry I put the wrong review with the wrong accommodation this accommodation was clean and tidy. Staff were wonderful. Sadly not enough hot water to do dishes in the evening then have 2 showers. Communal kitchen was a bit dirty though. Filthy class growing something in cupboard, 1 of the oven poured out smoke and the other ones seals were hanging out of the door. Had lots on information at the front desk which was very helpful.

    The town was easy to navigate, the mall in particular was very compact but full of variety. Everything was easy to get to, very little traffic related delays or issues. The food was all reasonably priced, definiately wish we could have been there longer!

    First time visitors to Richmond. Quite a long main Street. Totally surprised me. Loved visiting the Op Shops. All big, clean and lots of people. Lots to see in Richmond. Parks were nice and kid friendly. Went to the Richmond Mall. Enjoyed shopping. I found it easy to drive in Richmond. Went out to the country for a drive. Excellent scenery. Houses appeared to be "different". Saw the oldest pub in NZ. Rained every single day we were there. That was the only thing disappointing about our trip.

    What Breakfast, did you mean the one I had in the Mall, The location was handy to the Richmond Mall which was good, The inside 0f the accomodation was good and clean, overall I enjoyed staying there, (pity there was no Radio there).

    The location was poerfect as we needed to be at Saxon areana 5 minutes drive if that. Richmond shopping center also a 5 minute drive. A quiet neighbourhood, easy safe parking. Outdoor seating in lovely manicured area.
