At home, all the details are thought out, very cozy and functional. the yard is planted with beautiful plants, a complete oasis. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had a very nice host who was showing us around. He gave us a lot of his time without us asking which was very generous of him. He showed us his animals and walked us through the date palm plantations. The nature is very beautiful and the locals we met on the way were extremely nice and lovely. Don't expect any luxury or comfort here, you are on the countryside. The building is completely new but built in a traditional way. This is not a hotel with key cards and a breakfast buffet. You get a lock for your door and eggs from the chickens next door. We wanted to experience a traditional stay on the countryside, meet locals and see how they live and we knew what to expect. Take your ear plugs with you, because cats are fighting during the night and the rooster will wake you at 5am. The place is surrounded by date palms because you're in the middle of date plantations and offers a very beautiful view. There is Omani coffee and dates all day long if you need a snack. The location is great to do the balcony walk and visit Misfah al Abriyyin.

The room was spacious and cozy, with decorations and felt comfortable. The courtyard and roof top terrace provided a good overview of Al Hamra, a natural and calming environment. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

All super nice. Very beautiful building in the old town. Very friendly host who makes sure you feel home. There are two amazing dogs, the food is home cooked and incredible. You eat with the other guests and will get to know them

The inn was of mud brick and nicely decorated. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was lovely and hot. The location was great, near a deserted mud brick village and a date plantation. It was a short walk into town. From the Inn it’s a short drive to Misfah La Abriyyin, which is definitely worth a visit.

This is the place for those looking for something completely different from Kempinski ;-) An old Omani but renovated house with all the necessary amenities. Amazing atmosphere. Evening meal was quite good. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly, it was a great pleasure to be in this place :-) And don't forget to buy honey in the village, it is said to be the best honey in Oman! We forgot so we have to go back ;-)

Beautiful terrace with a amazing view, where you can sit all day. Tea and coffee available. Great rooms in local style. Great host who welcomed us and showed us the way to the viewpoint and advised other places. Excellent buffet for dinner and great breakfast. Wide choice and very tasty. Everything was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay very much. We recommend to everyone ☺️
