The best thing about our stay were the hosts, kind, friendly, willing to have long conversations with us despite our average levels of Spanish! They went irbid their way to make us feel really comfortable, the whole family were fantastic, they would make sure that we were heading in the right direction by sending a family member with us part of the way when we went to walk to the Pacha Mama and Pacha Tata. Mari Luz even walked us to the harbour on the day of our departure.

After almost two months of traveling in Peru, this may be our favorite place to have stayed. We booked the room with a view over the lake, and it was beautiful to wake up to. We enjoyed all of our meals and were taken great care of. The bed is super comfortable as well!

This is truly a unique place for several reasons. First, the location by the lake and in the heart of Luquina community makes it a relaxing paradise. You can enjoy spectacular views and walks in the quiet farming neigborhood. Second, Guido, Sarah and their children are great hosts, very kind, touchy. It was a pleasure to spend time with them!! We very much enjoyed a joint walk with Gina to Miradoro and a scent of flowers with little Ema. I would recommend you make sure to set your expectations right before going here - you will be a part of the family for a few days and this is a gift you cannot pay for. In my opinion this is not a partying destination, I cannot imagine a noisy group of tourists coming here. But I might be wrong. Also worth to mention that if you do not have 4x4, you better walk down the hill otherwise you must stay forever. But surely this would not hurt.

Beautiful stay on the Titicaca shore with agruculure expireneces included in price! The room was very clean and lovely, with lake view. Good internet, hot water ( that's not so obvious in Peru). Very teasty breakfast. Next to the lodge there are animals like lama and donkey that you can interact with. The owner took as to dig out some patatos with help of lama, what was great. We also had a little excursion on the tradicional boat with the owner. The owner also has a selecion of colorful tradicional clothes that you can try on :)

Richar and his family are so warm and welcoming. They told us about life on the island and showed us where we could go for the most beautiful walks. Food was great and bed was comfortable and warm with view over the lake and sunrise. We stayed two nights and I highly recommend this!

Our stay on Amantani Island was one of the most memorable experiences of our travels in Peru. We were warmly welcomed by Josè Luis, who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Pilar, the wife, is an incredible cook—every meal she prepared was delicious, fresh, and made with so much love. Sharing meals with the family and enjoying their traditional dishes was one of the highlights of our stay. The family’s kindness and hospitality were unmatched. The accommodation is located in the community on the opposite side respect where the boat from Puno arrives. That's permitted to be the only tourist in this side of the island during our stay. You have to consider 20 soles per person to reach the accommodation from the pier with a motorbike. Otherwise you need at least 1 hour and 30 minute of walk. The host family is amazing, Justa prepared delicious meals and joined us for a while for the walking up to pacha mama on the top of the island. Amantanì is magic, it is a rural island surrounded by the lake. Stunning scenario where to relax and take great pictures. The night sky from the house is unforgettable.
