Great place to stay for the first night of the salkantay hike. We had to change our booking to the following night due to a strike in Cusco and they didn’t have the room with the sky roof available so they put us in another private room instead and I actually liked this room way more. It had its own bathroom and you could see the mountain out the window while laying in bed. The bed was comfortable and warm. We got a hot shower included. Information about how to get there was sent to us after booking which was super helpful. Made the start of the hike super easy

Best food on the Salkantay Trek. They have plenty of options, also vegan or vegetarian Meals. Really nice owner. Make sure you don't miss the place. It is about 1km before Soraypampa.

Salkantay starcamp is set in Anta. The campground has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower. The property has an outdoor dining area. Guests at the campground can enjoy a continental breakfast.

The kindness of the staff, Edilberto, is very generous along with his recommendations of good places to visit and the location is central, the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was delicious and atmospheric.

It was close to the train station and the bus stop. the guys at the front were nice and the breakfast was at 5am so it was perfect for our plans.

The hotel is definitely for lovers of nature. It’s located “in the end” of the street full of restaurants, in the quiet corner - just in front of the thermal baths. The location is unique, because it’s over the river, the sound of it makes you feel you are camping :) so wonderful to sleep peacefully….

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent, right next to the train station. The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was simple but enough to start the day. Free tea, coffee and water were available in the kitchen all day, which was a nice touch. There are many restaurants and shops close by. It is only a short 6-minute walk to the bus station for Machu Picchu. Noise from the train is part of the package for many hotels in the area, and it did not bother us. We had a very pleasant stay.

Miss Jenny was very helpful and kind, helping us with everything we needed . There was a restaurant she recommended a restaurant 10 meters away MESA 7 great food with good prices. Room ans toilet where clean and warm.
