I liked the area because it was away from the main city.
I liked the area because it was away from the main city. The locals are very friendly. Just make sure you have transportation. I would recommend renting a car. The bungalows are a close walk to a beach with great snorkeling (Alexy gave great info for managing the current) and to an old Tahitian temple. There is also a restaurant and grocery store within walking distance. The bungalow had a great little kitchen though it was hot and humid for cooking.
