Unbeatable location right on one of most beautiful beaches on the island, breath-taking sunsets every night! Not only is this one of the only sit-down restaurants in this area but the food is delicious. We looked forward to our meals everyday as well as the company of such welcoming hosts. Away from the city's hustle and bustle, the last building in the village brings tranquility, situated on a hill in a jungle, with a garden full of lush vegetation, and cool mornings. We felt safe and slept well. Benjamin is always there with advice and recommendations. Kristine cooks fresh and tasty food, priced at decent rates. There are two common areas to relax and admire the landscape or vegetation, and they also have a pool. Located halfway to the underground River tours, it's ideal for the morning pick-up of the shared transfer; you're picked up last, so you avoid the crowds and stops at other hotels, then on the return, you're the first to be dropped off, which is wonderful because you're tired after the tour. You can reach Porto Princess city or Honda Bay Wharf by public bus or shared van if you want to try the Island Hopping Tour. They also offer transportation or you can move around with a scooter, which they have for rent, by bus, or shared van. It's so pleasant here that we extended our stay by another day. Robert and Marylin were the perfect hosts ! We had such an enjoyable time at Blue Moon Guesthouse, the wonderful Joel took great care of us and his pizzas were the best we've ever had. Location was perfectly secluded but close to shops and the beautiful beach. It was also only a 40 min moped ride to Puerto Princesa which has some stunning views along the way. Our room / hut was perfect, we fell asleep to the sounds of nature every night ! Thanks so much to Joel, Robert and Marylin for a wonderful stay!

Great resort with everything you need. We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time! Ramaon and his staff are great and are all very friendly and helpful. Rona who cooked for us the entire time makes the best Filipino food we have had! The owner Ramaon is great and extremely helpful! He even took us to a full moon party on the beach and then spent the whole night drinking with us back at the resort. He even arranged onward travel to Port Barton and dropped us off at the bus station. The pool is big and the grounds are lovely and scenic. The resort is in the mountainous area of Bacungan and they even arranged a pick up from our other hotel in Puerto princessa. James and Laura who also help out at the resort even arranged for us to get a motorbike and dropped it off at the resort for us. As the resort is quite remote a motorbike for 1 day or so would be required to visit Nagtabon beach and the other beaches in the area. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable and did us fine for the 4 nights. If we were to return to Palawan we would 100% return to banlaw!!

We love everything about HUE! The location is great, just beside Robinsons Mall and infront of Chowking and Bonchon. The look of the hotel exterior was really aesthetic. You can clearly see the rooftop pool from the outside. Our room was spacious. It even has a room for our two kids with bunkbeds and 2 lazy couches. It has 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms. Really a value for money. The rooftop pool has an amazing view, especially at sunset. It is kid friendly and even has a life guard on duty. It is also kept clean at all times. It has a gym and a spa too (which I enjoyed the most!). The daily breakfast were delicious, and it varies everyday. The staff were all helpful, accommodating, welcoming and kind. Our room was always kept clean by the cleaning staffs. They also make sure that the toiletries were changed or replaced everyday. All in all, we had a great time at HUE!
