Being in the jungle and falling asleep/waking up with the sounds of nature. If you are looking for a place where you are surrounded by nature this is the place. Away from the busy towns and calm. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely stunning hotel right in the heart of Loboc and close to lots of nearby activities like the Tarsier Sanctuary, floating restaurants, etc. My room was comfortable but the most basic type, so it didn't quite stack up to the rooms my friends had, but for the lower price I paid I can't complain - it was fine for one night. The best thing about the Loboc River Resort though is its staff - they are so welcoming, friendly and professional and their customer service skills are impeccable (I've never stayed anywhere where they greeted me by my name every time I came to reception). The activities they offer are also great - we tried paddle boarding on the river and the firefly boat excursion - the latter is an absolute must! All in all a great stay, thank you Loboc River Resort :)

Antonio Homestay is like a home away from home, it has all the amenities you need - hot & cold shower with good pressure, comfy bed, quiet air con, slippers, blanket & wash kit. The staff are very kind, when we arrived (Holy Saturday) dinner wasn’t available at the property so they drove us to the nearest restaurant & picked us up after our meal. They also drop us off at the jeepney terminal at the end of our stay. As well as organising a scooter rental & firefly tour. The location is very good - close to the Loboc river, having a scooter is recommended to reach restaurants & activities (tarsiers, chocolate hills & river activities)

The best homestay I’ve ever been to. The hosts are so welcoming and kind. They helped me organise tours and activities to do around the island and the food was simply delicious. The place was always clean and tidy. The river area is only a few minutes away from the homestay.

From the moment we arrived to the hotel we noticed it was way nicer than advertised online. The room felt more like a villa, an absolute dream. The views to the rice fields are spectacular. We had planned to do river trips but instead just did our own paddling on the river. The river isnt particularly special and it seems there are limitations to the trips (e.g. frequently you cant swim at the falls). It does have a strong current so be careful when in the water. The hotel provides a guide in case of difficulty. BTW: The Tarsier "sanctuary" was a massive disappointment. Just a photo op. Chocolate Hills platform gives a lovely view, but an hour is enough. We did these on the way to the hotel, so saved a day trip.

Loboc is a beautiful place to stay because most of the well known attractions like Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruises, and the famous Tarsiers are all so close to Loboc. If you intend to see those places, Loboc is the best one!

Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Restaurant was top notch with lot's of delicious dishes to choose from. Location is a must if you want to see Loboc river, Chocolate hills, and tarsier sanctuaries. The hotel itself is nestled between the river and surrounding forest. We really enjoyed the hotel massages and how immersed in nature the hotel is, having monkeys and a meditation wellness space available for use. We also enjoyed using the paddles and kayaking the river with the equipment the hotel provides.

Great dining experience - we had a dinner/breakfast/lunch...

Great dining experience - we had a dinner/breakfast/lunch and they are good with reasonable price. We also tried "fireflies tour" at 6:30pm and kayaking at 9am next day, the experience was great too. The rooms are OK. Given the rooms are built on top of swamp, you cannot compare them with rooms in the city.

I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit! We had the most fantastic time staying at The Water to Forest Ecolodge and hired scooters to visit the chocolate hills and explore various waterfalls (head off early and you'll probably find you have Pangas Falls all to yourself (it cost about 20pesos to access & had a shop selling drinks and snacks on the roadside). The scenery is absolutely stunning and the locals are just the friendliest we've ever encountered. A beautiful place, I feel very privileged to have visited.

Loboc was a great place to explore the sights of bohol and the loboc river. Quite far from Panglao / alona beach so don’t recommend basing yourself here if you want to do more beach stuff/ island hopping. Would recommend one or two full days in Loboc- you can do the chocolate hills and tarsiers in the same tour. Also Paddleboarding down loboc river was really fun. Evening Firefly tour was special too! Loboc river resort was a great place to base yourself- and the food in the restaurant amazing! Avoid the animal park/butterfly farm it’s cruelty! But do go to the tarsier sanctuary in corella as they treat the tarsiers better (or so the lonely planet says!) than other places.

The resort closed to the Loboc river is really nice. We were staying in 2 large and confortable rooms . The staff from the resort is always smiling and happy to help you. There are 2 pools in the resort, but the one closest to our rooms was almost always empty and waiting for us only to enjoy it !

The location is everything, we are so glad that we didn't book in the main tourist area. We were surrounded by nature and the beautiful Loboc River at our doorstep. The staff are absolutely beautiful too. What a gem 💎 ✨️ I would also like to add that the fire fly sunset SUP board tour is a must!

Perfect location! In the jungle, next to the river, but close to loboc town and right outside the hotel you can take the public bus to the main touristic attractions. You can also arrive by boat, which is very scenic Good restaurant with riverview Very nice and helpful staff
