Siquijor is a stunning and laid-back island with a magical charm. It’s easy to get around by scooter, with well-paved roads and scenic drives through lush greenery and coastal stretches. Highlights included Cambugahay Falls, Paliton Beach, the Old Balete Tree, and the Tower Viewpoint. The locals were incredibly warm and welcoming. The island is small enough to explore in a few days but packed with natural beauty, great snorkeling, and relaxed beachside vibes. The road works and roads are an absolute mess with ongoing roadworks happening. The prices of food and drinks are very high almost double what I pay on the mainland. Some very nice travel and exploreing to do if you can hire a bike. Getting there and back is very easy. Authentic, pleasant, unspoilt, attractive island. The island previously went to much effort to build steps and viewing tower at the highest point to view the whole island, sadly it has been much neglected. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
