Unfortunately the internet gave very little info on Bydgoszcz so I planned day trips out of the city when I should have stayed and toured the city more. It is spectacular and 3 or 4 days would be perfect. Great public transportation, numerous sights and activities, wonderful restaurants, active old town square…. Bydgoszcz is a beautiful city.
Bydgoszcz is a beautiful city. If you find the river, there are beautiful walks along the river, and the main areas of interest from a tourist point of view are close to the river. There is a tower that you can climb, and at the top, you get a good view of the city in all directions, and it also helps with spotting some places that might be of interest. Check in was simple and easy. The restaurant was so good we ate breakfast lunch and dinner there. The staff, particularly David and Claudia were very very good. I highly recommend this apartment and the attached restaurant to anyone visiting Bydgoszcz which is an interesting, laid back Polish city. PS. The hotel is not facing directly the main street which makes the rooms quite silent The service is average, if you do not request high standards, a clean room and a bed to sleep it remains a good option.
