We were there at the end of October - highly recommended at this time of year, when there is beautiful autumnal scenery and less tourists. It's a paradise for walkers - lots of gorges, hills and trails - within beautiful countryside. Absolutely love that city! My favourite small medieval town in Poland. A true gem worth visiting any time of year! I just can’t get enough of this beautiful town and I keep coming back. No matter time of the year it is good to pop there and immerse in the aura of this town. We have been there many times for stays lasting 2 to 4 nights and always it has been a perfect choice. You will find sight seeing places here, museums, old monuments along with partying places very good dine-out establishments, art galleries and very good winery called Winnica Kaziemierskie Wzgorza. We were spending Easter weekend there and almost all restaurants were open from 12:00 p.m., which was too late for us. If you don't stay in the hotel with breakfast you could have problem to eat sth in the morning... Many amenities, a lot to do, even when the weather isn't the best. As others already said, it's steeper and longer way to reach the place, and the road is paved with stones. For some people it may be difficult to walk up. For cars no problem though, even a low car can reach fine (but very slowly) and there's plenty of parking space.
