breakfast was awesome. you have four hour window, during which you can get any food that you think of. I'm especially a big fan of sun-dried tomatoes, and you had plenty of those. oh yes, pancakes were out of this world soft and tasty. 11/10.

    An up-and-coming city with a longer industrial history in textiles and manufacturing, it is undergoing modernization with improved transport hubs, extensive building construction, and citywide revitalization. Most remarkable is the one very long main street (Piotrkowska), one that urban life centers on. Also noteworthy: Cinema museum, Arts and museums generally, OFF Piotrkowska, Swimming and recreation, Night life, etc.

    I came to Łodz to visit my friend and had never been before...

    I came to Łodz to visit my friend and had never been before despite living and working in Gdansk. The city is amazingly sparse with character everywhere and always something to do. I would love to live there as the city is constantly developing and is amazingly connected.

    Really enjoyed Lodz, the people food & drink were superb. I think it is a 4 /5 day trip. We were there a week maybe a couple of days too many so we had a day in Warsaw which is easy on the train from Lodz.

    A less visited Polish city and all the better for that. Museum of Lodz worth a visit,situated in Poznanski Palace. Herbst Palace is a must see also, as is the Museum of the Factory in the Manufaktura complex.Jewish cemetery is worth a look also .Very moving.Do give the Ethnographical Museum a skip as it consists of just one room and shows nothing of the life of the people of the area in former times.People are friendly and very helpful everywhere .Public transport is like everywhere in Polish cities: excellent.For dining out try Mare e Monti if you like Italian food .If you prefer a more traditionally Polish dining experience Soplicowo in Ul. Wigury is excellent.

    Łódź is an interesting city.

    Łódź is an interesting city. It's shows the history through its architecture, Polish, German and Jewish residents have all left their mark in the city. It was known for its large factories and villas. The buildings are much different than the rest of Poland and the Piotrkowska street is the largest shopping street in Poland and one of the largest on Europe. Manufactura is very cool and worth a visit. You can see they're putting a lot of effort into building up the city. It is known for its film school, lots of film students and actors.

    New premises, everything very clean. So nice and polite staff, waited for our late arrival. In the morning was surprise- very nice message in Latvian language with coffee and pancakes for breakfast, despite that breakfast is not included in price. Hotel has large private and secure parking place. Location is near 10-15 minutes from A1 Poland highway. Hotel has separate equipped kitchen, in which you can have tea, coffee, make your meals, and usually some welcome sweets and cakes available for guests.

    The apartment was really big, so extremely comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen/living-room is spacious, the bathroom has a very good size, too. There is also a balcony. The beds were comfortable and you have thick curtains so you're not bothered by the sun in the morning. Everything was tidy and the staff at the reception was nice and helpful! Would visit again! You can pay extra for a parking spot right at the hotel and also pay for a really good breakfast.

    M place is an outstanding value for money. It is located on the outskirts of town. Staff was very friendly and willing to help. The hotel has a spa (two saunas, jacuzzi and a swimming pool), and an 8-ball table, both of which you can use free of charge. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I recommend staying in the superior room, since the difference in price in neglectable.

    Great, quiet location, cozy area not far from the main street. The apartment is comfortably and stylishly furnished, there was enough space for two adults and a child. On weekends you can park your car for free in front of the hotel building. I was pleasantly surprised by the coloring sheet and pencils left for the child. Thank you.
