The hotel is very clean and neat and staff is great. The staff at the reception was very professional and helpful with our room change. The staff at the restaurant was also very helpful every time we had a question or a request. Bartenders were also really nice and kind. Animators did a great job with all the programmes and activities, they were very kind, nice, and active. It was good to see how many families stay at the hotel with their children and having a great time thanks to the great staff. Thank you very much for the professional and kind staff that made our stay even more relaxing and cheerful. The hotel and all the facilities are great, we really enjoyed our stay! Fantastic view to the ocean, great room, amazing swimming pools, restaurant and bars and the ocean is just a few minutes away. Thank you very much for everything! We hope to go back another time soon!

My 90 year old mother, my girlfriend, and myself spent 4 nights at this amazing hotel. The staff were extremely helpful to accommodate special requests for my mother and for my girlfriend. The location could not be better. The rooms are stunning. Attention to detail makes all the difference, and the hotel left nothing out. The hotel is built within the walls of the citadel, and laying at the swimming pool between the ramparts is stunning. Special mention of Carlos, he went above and beyond and exceeded all expectations of service.

We had an amazing time in Foz Club! It was very difficult to leave this paradise! Breathe taking views from every room.The rooms are huge and perfectly clean. The owner of the place together with his son open the doors of his house for tourists one year ago. They are very social and friendly people which given a lot of great tips to discover the region. They are creating very cozy atmosphere in them place and care about every single person which come to visit them. That's why it's feel so cozy like at home! We definitely coming back next year!

    We have been coming to Alvor since 2016 and stayed over 10...

    We have been coming to Alvor since 2016 and stayed over 10 times; sometimes twice a year July and September. Obviously the fantastic beach and great swimming in Atlantic ocean is the main attraction, with great weather. Then it is the fantastic restaurants. Just about any place that grills fish and meat is very good and not expensive and offer fantastic value for money. The Indian restaurants are also excellent. The town has one street that is very busy with pubs, clubs and entertainment so it is available if you want to be busy or you can enjoy nice restaurants and quite bars.

    Plenty of restaurant choices with fresh food and lovely service, we didn't have any issues getting a table but can imagine it would be difficult without restovation during peak season. The beach is beautiful!

    Alvor is a breakaway from the hassle and noise of daily life. Food is varied and amazing and brilliant value. The people ate so welcoming Weather is amazing Everything is so central no rowdiness suitable for young families and the more mature. Check out The Green Door, Salsa, Wok Fusion, Alvor Bar. Bookings a must.

    Alvor is a fairly small resort, made up of a series of small fairly narrow walkways that are lined with the various restaurants, bars, and small shops. Most of the streets / walkways lead down to the seafront where you find the main three or four fish restaurants, that cook up the catch if the day, for the hundreds of locals, and tourists that decend into the area each evening. Alvor is very family friendly, there are no hen or Stagg parties, and no groups of people singing their favourite football chant from the outside of bars. There are families walking round of an evening, deciding where to eat enjoying their break away, removed from the normal treadmill of life. So great relaxing location, lots of places to eat and drink, in a small fairly compact location,.

    The view from our balcony and the location was excellent, lots of restaurants nearby, enjoyed the pool, everyone has their own sun beds, they are numbered by your apartment number. Would definitely stay here again.

    What I liked most was O Gadys Pub.

    What I liked most was O Gadys Pub. Ana Gourmet Ana Esteves was very helpful. We visted in the 90's it was beautiful small village. This time it looked tired in places. Beautiful board walk at the end of that walk at the harbour a soccer pitch play area it was all over grown and Graffiti on the wall looked awful also at end of the village coming from Alvo golf come to a roundabout grass all overgrown looks very poor for a tourist village. Still a very nice place

    Position in Alvor is exceptional - close to beach, quay and shopping/restaurants. View is fantastic from the balcony. Rooms (all with ensuite) are large and comfortable and main dining room /kitchen (and apartment generally) is very well equipped (dishwasher/washing mc/tumble dryer) . The pool area is perfect for a cool off after a day on the beach. Parking was right outside and straightforward. All the equipment /

    This hotel was amazing! Staff were so helpful & polite. Breakfast is great. Cooked breakfast could be kept at a higher temperature, but I can understand the difficulty when catering for a large number of guests. Boardwalk is on your doorstep, and it's literally less than a 10-minute walk to the centre of Alvor.

    The hotel's pool setting is great, and has easy access to a great beach. The staff were really nice. The nearby towns of Alvor and Portimao have plenty to offer, and lots of restaurants to choose from for an evening out.

    The hotel was by the beach a mere two minute walk. It was very quiet at night so we had no problem sleeping. It was also very near the centre of Alvor a five minute walk.
