Constancia is beautiful.
Constancia is beautiful. We walked the village in the evening and it was peaceful. The churches are wonderful and there is a lovely walk along the river. We loved the orange and white houses and the well-kept gardens. The supermarket was well stocked and although we never ate at any restaurants, they looked good. We are just so very sad that a paper mill has been constructed across the river! It is noisy and an eyesore on the once beautiful horizon.Guest review byJimmySouth Africa - 10.0

We liked the fact that the check in was in person and the welcome from Roberto and his care in the presentation of the house. The sympathy and availability were excellent! Details available in the house as the firewood, various kitchen utensils and groceries make a big difference. The space is cozy and very comfortable, both inside and outside. Being near Constância fluvial beach,Tancos' river boats to the Almourol Castle and from Tomar ( order of Christ Convent). The decoration and the unique furniture pieces that one can see throughout the entire place.
