Curral das ferreiras is very quiet, peacefully and tourist friendly.Ideally if you want the quiet after a day from touring the Island . Definitely you need a car to travel to other places in the Island . We stayed there 3 nights of our holiday that was perfect.Guest review byJuvelinaGuernsey

A very nice and comfortable patio with shadow and sun and a plum tree (delicious fruits). Usually, it's a good location for hikes (in September 2024, three of four hiking routes were closed). But the bus 81 takes only 45 minutes to Funchal and from there a lot of activities can be done.
