The main things to do in Fatima are gong to the Shrine and Stations of the Cross walking path. The Shrine holds a Pilgrim's Rosary every night at 9pm which is very impressive, hundreds if not thousands attend this candlelight service. The walking path is beautiful and a great outdoor experience also nearby. It is supposed to be a religious shrine, but the religious feel is ruined by tacky gift shops and noise in the basilica. The chapels in the church of the Holy Trinity provide a good space for private contemplation. Strongly recommended the Museu de Cera and the walk down the Via Sacra through the Olive groves to Aljustrel where you can see the cottages where the children Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta lived. The person at the reception desk was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed for our stay and visit around Fatima. The Check-in process also was fast enough. The location of the Hotel is really good as it is next to one of the main churches in Fatima and also a lot of souvenir shops were nearby which saved us time when shopping.
