The landlord is very friendly and responsible. The environment of the house is very good and quiet. My youngest son has autism, and a quiet environment is what we need. The house has a large yard with an automatic door, which is very safe. We can park our rental car with confidence. There is also a barbecue in the yard, but unfortunately we didn't use it this time because we were short of time. The neighbors around are very friendly. There is a small supermarket 5 minutes' drive away. The house was cleaned very well, even the hidden places in the cabinets were dust-free, the drains in the shower and the kitchen sink were very clean, I am a person with cleanliness, these are very important to me, and increase my comfort. Although we encountered one or two small problems during the rental period, the key point is that the landlord responded to us very quickly and immediately found ways to solve these small problems for us. Excellent service, they also gave us some very fresh lemons, they prepared detailed information in the rental house, including information about the police, ambulance, supermarkets, and even nearby delicious pizza restaurants, the male landlord's English is very good, and the female landlord can speak a little French. They are the friendliest and most enthusiastic landlords I have ever met, you can try to ask them what you want to know, they will be happy to answer you. Before I came to Porto, I found that many car rental companies had problems with dishonesty and overcharging. Because the landlord is a local, I asked them for information about the car rental company, and they recommended a car rental company near the airport for us. I just want to say that it is a very good car rental company, which made our trip much easier. If I have the opportunity to go to Porto again, I will definitely choose to live here again without hesitation. It was a very pleasant rental experience🤝🤝🤝

Spacious room with a spa bath and a private outdoor space. Loved the communal lounge area. Breakfasts were great. While it was away from the centre of the city, with a car it was only 15 mins to get to the centre. It was also easy to make day trips Excellent staff.

The staff at the hotel were amazing, very welcoming and accommodating they went above and beyond. The Al a carte breakfast was incredible, the food was fresh and tastes amazing. The outdoor heated swimming pool and lounge is a beautiful place to relax with a drink from the bar. We will definitely be staying again on our next trip.

This is a hidden gem in Porto. We were so warmly greeted by Sonia with our first of many Porto tonics! The room was lovely, very well equipped with a gorgeous bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. The handmade soap was a lovely extra touch. The bed was so comfortable I had 8 hours unbroken sleep every night of our stay. The breakfast was brilliant, I especially enjoyed the fresh orange juice, granola, and the eggs topped off with chives grown in the garden. The hotel is so quiet, surrounded by nature and a fabulous garden and pool. The views over the river Douro were breathtaking. Yet we were only 30 minutes walk to the centre of Porto, or a quick Uber ride. We were lucky enough to spend St Joao's night with Sonia, Frederick, Marta and their families and friends. It's a night we will never forget. Viva "El Presidente" and his tasty sardines! I would highly recommend the Lost garden if you appreciate good food, a warm welcome in a small boutique hotel. We loved it. We'll be back. Thank you.

Absolutely everything, the concept is great Rooms are a good size with a small kitchen Plenty of sitting space throughout the property They will give you a turntable and you can borrow records from the library to play in your room Tucked away in a quieter part of town but a €4 bolt taxi will get you to anywhere downtown in 10 minutes Supermarket round the corner so if you wish to partly self cater that is good Bar and restaurant on premises not run by hotel so you have to pay them, but that is not an issue About a 20 minute walk, downhill from the centre of Porto back to hotel

    Sebastiao and his family were very welcoming.

    Sebastiao and his family were very welcoming. He kindly took the time to where a supermarket was located, where we could buy the best pastel de nata and he explained other useful things about the area. We loved the surrounding for privacy, relaxation, sun and swimming with easy access to Porto and the Valley. We would highly recommend this location to others.
