Loved this place.
Loved this place. Working little town, accommodating to tourist but not yet over run or spoiled by it. Lots of picture postcard views but also evidence of real life happening on door step. Amazing selection of restaurants which were extremely reasonable for a traveler from UK. Local beach was great, and island trip very fun and great for a walk, or more expansive beach. Relaxed vibe to the whole place and charming. Very keen to return. Walking to beach, harbour, restaurants all within 5 mins, and train station ten mins ( although a Uber to faro was 12 euros ( 2025.) Fuseta was amazing.
Fuseta was amazing. Although only small there were lots of fabulous restaurants and coffee shops. We took a ferry to Fuzeta Island which was very affordable, and a great snack bar on the beach as you turn right off the boardwalk. Fuseta is a charming place.
Fuseta is a charming place. Lovely beach with cafe, sun beds, umbrellas and calm water. Ferry out to island of Fuseta which is magnificent but can be very windy. There are no sun beds or umbrellas there in May. There are 2 railway stations in the village which is surprising for such a small place. One can travel the length of the Algarve on the train. The market is small but full of delicious fruit, veg and fish. Nearby Restaurant A Lota is to be recommended for delicious fresh fish. We loved it!
We loved it! So beautiful, the sunrise was breathtaking and so were the views. An early morning walk on the wetlands and the flamingos were incredible. A couple of minutes walk to the buzzing square - full of locals and energy. The beach was heavenly. It was really special.
