Matosinhos is a good place to visit if you want a vibrant neighbourhood near the sea. It’s not an holiday resort people live there it’s the type of place we like visiting. A haven for surfers and watching them. Watching the sun set, stunning. Very quiet, lovely bar / cafes right on the beach and a very short walk to the local shops, restaurants. Ubers the best way to get around 3-5 Euro for 30 mins into main city Porto. Highly recommend the Majestic in Porto and then walk down to the river in Porto, loads of things to see and do. Plenty of places to visit to eat.
Plenty of places to visit to eat. FC Porto and Sea Life Porto is very close by. It is easy to get around Matosinhos. The guests I booked in were there for work and so they didn't visit any activities but were actually setting up Sea Life which they enjoyed.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

I find the bedrooms quite comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast has a good variety of tasty options with increasing local products. The pool is very inviting and just the right temperature.
