The property is a hidden gem, tucked away in what can only be described as a piece of history. Absolutely stunning interiors-unique but tasteful. The staff were fabulous and welcoming in all areas of the hotel and you can tell they are very passionate about the property. I would note that this is not the place to go for nightlife, it’s for those wishing to relax and unwind and appreciate nature and the beautiful surroundings. Get out in the car and explore the wonderful scenery on offer and you will not be disappointed. Well done to all.

I had an amazing stay at Templo Hotel and Spa in Braga! From start to finish, the service was exceptional. At check-in, Valeria welcomed me with a warm smile and great professionalism — she made me feel right at home. During the night, Luis was very attentive and helpful, making sure everything was perfect. At check-out, João and a lovely lady (whose name I sadly missed) were equally fantastic — kind, efficient, and genuinely engaging. The atmosphere is peaceful, the facilities are spotless, and the location is unbeatable. I truly felt cared for, not just as a guest, but as a valued individual. I’ll definitely be coming back — next time with my family to enjoy it all over again! Highly recommended!

Not only it is located in a marvelous place but also the daily rates were totally worth it. The room we stayed had a balcony with a view of the city below and a well tended garden right underneath our room. The breakfast was a good one for the rate.

This accommodation is great value for money. The rooms are comfortable and the property is spacious and beautiful. The pool is clean, quiet and warm. Fernanda is a great host. She does everything to give you the best holiday experience. There was a little problem with our room which she solved immediately. The breakfast is very good: fresh products and a lot of choice. Highly recommended.

    Nice and Cultural rich city but seems to be crowded with...

    Nice and Cultural rich city but seems to be crowded with tourists and not so quiet anymore. You can get excellent food at "Trancoso" or "Avenida" restaurants. Near Gerês so you can drive and visit but again expect a lot of traffic due to tourists (in August, at least).

    The hotel it’s unique as style,what I found weird that only 3 people were running the place Reception was waiter,cleaner was waitress Maybe they were short of staff,I have to say staff is very nice but for that big hotel only 3 people running the business Our room was not clean none of the days After first night we went at the room at 4 a clock pm and they were going to clean the room

    The house was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are beautiful and very comfortable. the hosts brought us firewood for the fire, and were very accommodating. Only a 10 minute drive from Povoa de Lanhoso, or 30 minutes from Braga.

    The pool area is great, and the room is good, too. The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, but that doesn't help much if your objective from the start was to stay in the hotel and relax for the entire time.

    For a rural hotel stay this was excellent. Manager Sergio was an excellent host and anyone wanting to try a rural stay in this area won't be disappointed.
