Stunning, renovated room with a beautiful marble bathroom. We stayed in the suite which had a lounge room which was the perfect place to relax. Large windows along the entire apartment so we had them all open allowing the breeze to flow in. The owner knows how to do hospitality, from the easy checkin process to the little details in our room, breakfast was delicious including homemade pastries and so many options for all breakfast tastes.

Amazing apartment, extremely clean and pretty, very comfortable, with everything you can hope for: kitchen fully equipped with air fryer, kettle, toast machine, etc... AC, soaps provided, parking spot nearby, water bottle and pasteis de nata offered, and also the possibility to buy local wine bottles and honey for 10 euros. A little gem in the middle of vale do Douro!

A breathtakingly beautiful property , with attention to minute detail with a caring and friendly team that delivered an outstanding experience . The cuisine and service at the award winning Teracu restaurant on the property was simply amazing showcasing the best ingredients in a hearty but yet beautifully presented plates. Jorge, Francisca , Rafael, Maura and Alexandra were spontaneously warm and hospitable and made the Douro valley stay one of the most memorable highlights of our two and a half week trip to Portugal. Each of them were experts in their respective fields and went out of their way to make it a very special and delightful experience for us.We will surely visit this property again and recommend it to all our friends and family.. Thank you guys for making it so!

    The Quinta de Sao Luiz, where we were staying, made a reservation for us at a restaurant in Tabuaco. The drive to the restaurant was challenging due to the serpentine road and rainy weather. I don't think there was much to do in that small town, but we had an okay experience at the restaurant.

    The trip to the Quinta was through some wonderful rambling...

    The trip to the Quinta was through some wonderful rambling winding roads in the Douro valley. There are many places to visit there, and although we thought the location was perfect, some might like a location closer to town and not so far from Porto.

    Wonderful location with a clean spacious hotel and great staff. Pool was a good size too. The evening meal is totally underplayed. “A meal can be arranged” had me thinking that it would be chicken nuggets heated up. But this was a pre booked gourmet meal by a great chef. They also added wine parings. Excellent food! Breakfast was generous with lots of choice.

    The property was well equipped and very clean. It was within walking distance to shops and pharmacy. The locals were very friendly and the area itself was stunning. It was only a 20min drive to Pinhão, where we went kayaking along the Douro. Tania was an excellent host and we’d love to come and stay again!

    Most beautiful location, views and hotel! Staff and facilities are fantastic. Qualifies as 5 star boutique hotel. Must-go if you’re in the region and looking for a remote and unique place to stay in the Douro! Make sure to stay longer than just 1 night!
