    I loved Severin's Fortress, it was such an amazing find and...

    I loved Severin's Fortress, it was such an amazing find and I could have stayed all day. The city itself is pedestrian friendly with a lot of options for eating. The weather wasn't great and the fountains weren't on but that's about the only bad thing I could say about the stay.

    New and old combination, great parks and gardens, history. Easy to walk around,long distances by taxi but good price .La Marinaru restaurant for fish! Ada Kale coffee and bistro for turkish coffee and food! Taxi Nova for getting around!

    It is a border town with all the problems that come with...

    It is a border town with all the problems that come with that. I cycled from Serbia and there was a shocking amount of dead dogs on the road. Then, terribly, there were young girls working as sex workers on the first off ramp. Just shocking. The Romanian Government has to help these people. It was so sad to see them.

    The room was very basic but perfect for a one night stay.

    The room was very basic but perfect for a one night stay. There was a restaurant on location in the inner yard of the building, in a beautiful garden setting. The food was delicious! Because of the restaurant, the garden may get noisy in the summer months but it was pretty quiet at the beginning of October. There were many cars parked on the street so it may get tricky to park in peak season. The city is easy to get around in and the city center is a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

    Spacious hallway and room, spacious shower cabin, a room TV and heating machine, well maintained and clean… overall, very good value for the money compared to other local hotels and right next to the Main Street in town which takes you down to the city centre quickly. Close to the city’s main shopping centre, take aways, local mini bars, a super market and a big park as well.

    Absolutely amazing! The attention to details can easily be compared to a 5 star hotel, very easy check in and check out. Our friends joined us for our civil wedding and it was their first time in Romania and they loved the apartment. Beds are comfortable, super clean and modern. Thank you so much!

    It is a great hotel with spacious rooms and very clean. The host is very welcome and supportive. It is possible to pay with a card and it has a parking. It is outside of the city Centre and it is not crowdy to reach the hotel

    The hotel had an old, antique style decoration which made it feel very Eastern European. The rooms were spacious and the view was just incredible! The staff were very friendly and we had no issues at all.
