A beautiful place right at the entrance of the national park! If you’re looking for individual tourism off the beaten path, this is the perfect place for you. Longin, the general manager, went above and beyond to make sure I had an unforgettable experience. Pickup and rerun to Kigali worked seamlessly, and since I hadn’t booked any pre-arranged tour, he organized the safari for me - and it was phenomenal. We saw so many animals, zebras, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, impalas, even lions. It was also nice to learn about conservation efforts and the sustainable management oder the park. Can’t recommend Akagera Transit Lodge highly enough!
