To fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the park, we decided to stay at Akagera Park Inn, a choice that turned out to be a highlight of our adventure. Akagera Park Inn impressed us with its charming ambiance and exceptional service. The lodge is beautifully designed, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes guests feel at home. A beautiful place right at the entrance of the national park! If you’re looking for individual tourism off the beaten path, this is the perfect place for you. Longin, the general manager, went above and beyond to make sure I had an unforgettable experience. Pickup and rerun to Kigali worked seamlessly, and since I hadn’t booked any pre-arranged tour, he organized the safari for me - and it was phenomenal. We saw so many animals, zebras, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, impalas, even lions. It was also nice to learn about conservation efforts and the sustainable management oder the park. Can’t recommend Akagera Transit Lodge highly enough!

pool is nice. would be better if towels provided for lounge chairs and that the chairs be spread around the pool.

The place is ideal for relaxation but it also offers nice activities which should be not missed. Jado was a legend.
