The hotel is opposite a beach (2 minutes walk), the staff is very friendly (especially Mandy - waiter) and the food at the restaurant is fantastic! The pancake after breakfast and the Butter Chicken for dinner is highly recommended. The room has the basic necessities and the shower was good. The view from the hotel is spectacular 24/7. Highly recommended to order a drink from the bar and relax at the pool before sunset.

Seychelles is the honeymoonest destination there is. :) It's absolutely fantastic and we're extremely happy that we chose this part of the island and this particular accommodation for our stay. I would warmly recommend it to anyone. First of all, Christine was amazing and super helpful with our questions. She helped us organize a tour to Praslin and La Digue and it was in general very nice. The accommodation itself is spacious, it has all facilities you need in the room and free parking available. The bathroom is very big and AC works well. It was right across the university and some elementary/middle school and felt very safe both at day and at night. There are mini markets 2 minutes down the street and fresh fruit market in the morning. There are also fast food options all around. The beach is 3-4 minutes walk from the accommodation, very close. The pictures in the post are from the said (closest) beach and from the famous Anse Royale beach which is a continuation of the closest beach. If you're not very adventurous type, even staying only on these beaches will be great. On the beach they sell some of the best fresh coconuts we've tried on the island. Regarding the advantages of location, if you have a car and want to explore, you're in the middle of the island and perfectly positioned to explore the towns in the north (Victoria and Beau Valon, with Beau Valon beach, 30-40 min drive), pristine but somewhat windy beaches in the south (20 min drive) and paradise beaches in the west (10-15 min drive). The airport is also just a few minutes drive. If we would come again to the island (and we wouldn't have the budget for 4 seasons or Kempinski resorts), we would always choose to come to this accommodation.

Perfect Place in Mahe Island. As they have everything organised and available to your comfort. They even provided us with some equipment like kayaks, life jackets and more to use. Even the host was very kind and informative to us. I stay at three places. This was the best. All I can say. 🙂

Absolutely exceptional place with absolutely amazing view. Very nice and kind-hearted staff. Always pleasant, warm, smiling. A place to rest and relax. They took care of us like their own :) For a longer stay, I highly recommend having a rental car to explore the nearby beaches and the rest of the island.

Also we hired a boat and did some fishing and snorkelling. Be aware of the sun. It's easy to get burnt

    Anse Royale is a beach that can be divided into attractive and less attractive parts. I have seen more beautiful beaches, but in Seychelles there is a lot of competition among beaches, so Anse Royale has a difficult task 😊. It is, at least in part, one of the most beautiful beaches I have visited on Mahe.

    We found this to be our perfect area!

    We found this to be our perfect area! Not far from the airport and capital Victoria, you have all the needed amenities nearby and of course, the beach is superb! Why that beach? Well, the water is always clear and calm, even during higher winds since the big waves don’t reach it and it’s not that much affected from the low/high tides. Good snorkling options everywhere.

    We were visiting for a conference and stayed for 2 nights. Everybody was extremely kind, room was large and well equipped and clean, our stay was really pleasant. Only problem, until today I got no receipt for the bill I paid there when leaving - it was promised by email, and despite several attempts I did not get it yet. Not good for professional travelers.

    It was a peaceful place, few shops including small supermarkets to get most things, there was a few restaurants including a good pizza take away. We also visited the Takamaka rum distillery which was very interesting and free admition.

    Anse Royal by the sea shore is a bad place to stay!

    Anse Royal by the sea shore is a bad place to stay! A noisy road goes along the shore and you find yourself just above it, which makes you awakened at 6 am. It is more comfortable to go more into the hills: ok, you would spend 5-20 min driving to reach you beloved beach, but you would sleep in silence, enjoy a swimming pool at the end of the day, and hear birds in the morning.

    Amazing place! Cottages are beautfuly decorated and very well equiped. Outdoor pool is very nice and wonderful garden makes the stay even more enjoyable. Manager Vicky was super, super nice and helpful :) The beach is close (3-3 minutes by foot) and guests can use hotel beach located near to the Crowne hotel. Local shop is also close by and you can buy there everything you need.

    Everything was great. Daniella and David are great people and helpful with everything you need. They helped us organize our transfer to and from the airport, to the ferry, we were even able to leave our luggage in the apartment for two nights while we were away in La Digue. If we come back to Mahe, we will definitely choose them to be our hosts again. are
